We were pulling for Hailie here, have been since before she got a truck ride. I hope she figures something out. We'll be fans either way.

One of the reasons why the ladies struggle in auto racing in a series with multiple cars or vehicles on the track. Is the lack of other participants teaming up with them to move up places during the race. She had a great opportunity to finish in the top three a few races ago, and she was left out to dry. The ladies do well in drag racing because it's all on them, and their equipment and team.

Maybe Hailie should go dirt late model racing?

I said in an earlier post that she can backtrack and get more experience if she can get past the damage to her pride. I hopes she can maturely manage this and come back an improved driver.

Yes, we all know she comes from some money - but the blue-collar crew and team aren't as fortunate so it's about time they see some positive results for the hard work they put in. She was a middle of the pack racer in her first season at this level. This should have been expected. This could have been a decent career and she would have gotten better over the years if the team had a good crew chief, though maybe not a contender for a win every week. This should not have mattered and she should have been treated like any other middle of the pack racer. For Joey Lagano to take her seat is not a fair comparison, as Joey has always been good, and has gotten better with experience the last ten years. Her race team should have been happy with where she was at in experience and maybe another girl might have gotten an opportunity as well, making it more interesting. The Naysayers and meatheads that cut her down or claim that there are better drivers who could have her seat ... all that does not matter. It was just nice to have a girl (or two if possible) in the mix. It was good for the fans and she was better than maybe half the guys out there. Danica Patrick was also not treated well by these same negative fans, but having her in the circuit was also good for the fans and she also was better than half the guys so it does not matter that she was not a contender to win each week. If either of these girls got lapped 5 times each race, then maybe that would be a different story, if the team had provided good cars. Besides all this, her team should have been loyal for the entire season and beyond for at least 3 years. Bringing in another driver to test the quality of the cars is OK if there is any question there, but it should not have affected her place with the team. Very bad form. And to make a judgement based on a street race is bad form also, because street courses are less about the car and more about the driver and his skills at road courses. AM racing should be ashamed for shortening her tenure with them like this. Midpack racing is not always about getting the overall win but is a race within a race against other midpack drivers.

Kenny how could you not mention Patti Moise? She drove in five Winston Cup races from 1987 to 1989, and 133 Busch Series races from 1986 to 1998.

It's becoming like finding the "great white hope" in heavyweight boxing back in the day. (historical term for those easily triggered) I'm sure Hailie is a fantastic race car driver compared to 99.999% of the population, but she has to beat the .001% if you are going to play in the big leagues.

Hailie Deegan is as you said “a lady”. She has no personal drama to bring attention to her. She is trying and hopefully we see more of her “racing” in the very near future.

The one cause for concern with Hailie is She is so busy with her channel that I don't think She has enough time to concentrate full time on Racing and fully commit. Mad props to her, she always has a fallback plan!

No surprise. She drove for Thor in the trucks series and couldn't get it done. Thor brings competitive trucks to the race track every week. AM racing also brings competitive race cars in the Infinity series. Look at the success Brett Moffit had in the 15 car last year.

I have been a Hallie fan since her dirt days. Was excited tp.see her get in to the truck series. Problem is she never delivered

I don't know if she's still under contract with Ford but if not if so happens she becomes a free agent I think her only answer is to sit down with Kelley Earnhardt and align herself with Chevrolet and get some cars tours time and work her way back up.... I can be completely wrong by this comment and that's okay it's just my opinion!

Maybe if she spent more time with the racing commitments and less time on KZfaq she might still have a racing job

The media overhyped her. They put superstar expectations on a driver who wasn't ready to deliver. To put it kindly, her results were underwhelming. She wasn't ready for Xfinity; she is no superstar. She needs to step down to Trucks, or even super late models, to find a place to be competitive. Thousands of male racers have had to do the same thing (including your friend Mark Martin, returning to ASA with his tail between his legs).

Ok let's be honest here Kenny YOU know just like the rest of us why she had that full time ride It's the Danica thing all over again. She brought alot of sponsorship $$$ with her when she got to this level but they are very quickly realizing sponsorship money just ain't enough if you can't keep the fenders on the car right? Best thing for her is go down to ARCA and spend alot more time working on how to drive the car then posting selfies with it imo.

When she first joined AM Racing, I predicted that she wouldn't survive the 2024 season. Well, what happened? She's gone.

Couldn't have said it better myself: "Men and women are NOT equal". I was cheering Hailie Deegan on too for the first 2 years of her Truck Series career, was watching her KZfaq channel too. However, when she got to her 3rd year of trucks and was still struggling, my hype for her ended. She drove for 2 championship calibur Truck Series teams and could not get it done. To be fair before the simps start coming after me, her Xfinity equipment is not the best however, would've had made a difference if she drove for RCR, Stewart-Haas or Joe Gibbs in the Xfinity Series? I feel she would do a little better but not much better. I just think she is not cut out for NASCAR and people need to accept that.

Kenny , 16 races , she had multiple top 15’s and multiple top 20’s AM racing tried capitalizing on her being a female, Unfortunately they had 5 DNF’s not of her doing bad put calls there has more to do with AM racing than Hailie Deegan , I imagine this could be AM’s last season in Xfinity … Remeber they stated a 2 car team when they signed her which never materialized

I said when she left Toyota, her career would end. Ford didn't have the equipment and development infrastructure for a young rookie who only knows dirt. Ford rushed her up hoping to use her for PR.

Doriane Pin is a driver be watch. She's in sports cars in Europe and F1 Academy, with wins and fastest laps in ELMS and WEC LPM2 last year. She's the 2022 European Ferrari Challenge Pro Champion. And, one of her idols made the the big boys in the Killer Bee's era of World Rally Championship cry, Michèle Mouton.

Makes me wonder if Kelley Earnhart could have made in the NASCAR big leagues. Girl dad here too Herman!

Hailie got a few wins back in the K&N series, so there's either some talent there or that car was awesome. It's not smart to keep moving someone up through the ranks if the results are not there.

She should be appreciative that she even got a shot…I’m sure there are hundreds more waiting in line…. Sometimes it works out and most of the time it doesn’t in the case of professional racing. There are only so many spots🤷‍♂️

Look how many men have failed and for all of us to put that much pressure on 1 and I repeat 1 young lady that was and is willing to give it her all in a man's world and I'm not saying that as a sexist but aas her fan. I don't think she is a bad racer she has had bad luck on the track. I hope she finds a new ride in the series. I'm to the point I would rather watch Xfinity and ARCA over Cup. Good luck to my girl.

AM Racing gave a 25th place driver a 25th place car. As a driver, you take whatever opportunities you are given and sometimes they aren't very good options. Owning a car seems easy till you try it. You have to budget for hours and hours of testing hundreds of different setups to make a car work. AM seemed like they just wanted to show up at the track and try to figure it out on race day and that doesn't work. You also need a dozen different cars to test. Sometimes a chassis looks correct but just never responds to input and you have to know when to junk it. Hailie brought money to the team and put the car in the field every race. Really, that's pretty darn good.

They have data on these drivers. As a data scientist I wonder where her lack of speed comes from. Is she braking too early/braking too much going into a turn? Is she too late getting back to the throttle or not throttling up enough? Is she simply just not as adamant about what changes she wants to the car? I've heard some drivers get quiet bossy/snarky when talking to the Crew chief about the issue with the car. That takes a level of aggressiveness that I don't think Hailie has at this point. She seems extremely polite and 'gentle'. You have to be aggressive in this sport. I think that's why Danica was better at certain aspects. Danica was pretty good at qualifying, but it's like she didn't have that aggressive drive over the course of an entire race. She definitely has the aggressive gene over the short period. It's like when you're on a long highway trip. There's times you can get in a pack of cars bumper to bumper and you're doing good passing others. Then, you let up for just a second, and someone will swoop around you and get in that little gap you left between you and the car in front of you. If you're not "on it" the whole time, you will be eaten alive.

Deegan didn't do the work to get better. She was more worried about creating a fan base.

She would be my pick in a Womens Racing Series. Would love to watch her go to battle with other talented female race car drivers..

She’s a lot better and deserves a lot better. She’d have won races in Danica Patrick’s car. It’s hard enough to get the situation right as a man in the sport. I’m hoping that’ll happen soon for her. She deserves it, and fans deserve it. Time will tell.

Nascar is so hard. Sometimes the difference between running 10th and 30th is confidence. I think the truck series took her confidence. I dont think she had confidence in the car she was driving and lacked confidence in herself. Hopefully she goes somewhere and finds that confidence.

AM racing did not prep her track vehicle well. Parts failing every race. Hallie tried to race that 15 car but OMG parts broke and then no HP. She'll find another ride.Herman I believe in her talent.
