The first page being partly glued to the facing page is one way of making a book. I have made a few sketchbooks myself by following along with a bookmaker’s tutorial. It looks like a beautiful book.

This sketchbook is on the list of sketchbooks that I look forward to using. It’s on my bookshelf with a small hoard of other sketchbooks that I’ve bought this past few years. Im at a stage where I am trying to resist buying anymore sketchbooks until I have filled a couple, including the nerdforge sketchbook 😆 great little review, cool to see how nicely the water color went down on the paper. Cool to see how much you like it, I look forward to using mine one day

Aww yes, it's a very fun sketchbook for sooo many mediums^-^ but be careful just don't use too much water on it either it's not really watercolor paper and it'll bulge ;)

@@cordoesart yes I could see that bit of bulging in your review. I will certainly keep my eye on it when I get to it. My watercolour isn’t very heavy so I’ll be careful with the water. But it looks like the watercolour looks nice on the paper, which is great, so I might not be able to resist. I’m hoping to practice gouache in my current sketchbook at some time. So who knows when I get to the nerdforge book I may do some gouache painting and see how that holds up.

Nice video. I always have trouble breaking in a new sketchbook or notebook. Love your art style. Also, noticed you're a December baby like myself so Alles Gute zum Geburtstag! (Even though someone said it's apparently "bad luck" in Germany to say happy birthday not on your actual bday but it's not in NZ where I'm from haha)

Ich hatte, das gleiche Problem mit dem Leuchtturm Skizzenbuch. Ich habe nun welche von Art creation probiert. Die haben zwar auch etwas dünneres Papier, sind aber preislich ok und kommen am nächsten dran m.M.n. Vielleicht magst du ja mal eins ausprobieren. 😊

Ja voll, die sind auch ganz ok aber kommen halt meiner Meinung nicht an das alte Leuchtturm ran. Ich mag zurzeit die Wasserfarben sketchbooks von hahnemühle recht gerne😊✨
