According to Turron Davenport, the Tennessee Titans are signing S Jamal Adams to a contract! The frst "big name" safety to come off the board as a late summer signing in the NFL. Seattle didn’t know how to use him. I believe with a change of scenery he’ll be one of the better strong safeties in the game.

To be honest, I'm really surprised how much Jamal dropped off, with injuries and particularly in coverage. He was such a beast on the Jets..only thing was the drama and just the lack of value/impact of the position. Will never forget that strip and touchdown on Daniel Jones..

I not* a big Adams fan but I know most of the ppl in these comments are casuals because they call him washed and he’s bad at coverage. Guess what??? He was never considered to be good in coverage 😂 he’s a box safety primarily meant to be in a 3-4 defense playing close to the line of scrimmage. When he went to Seattle he was doomed from the start, they asked him to play more coverage in a 4-3 which was his biggest weakness. Anyways go JETS!!!😂💯

Kinda surprised Jamal got signed before Simmons. Can't believe he's still out there. He's a leader, he's still can play at a high level, I don't know why teams are not signing him. I'd love Simmons but will he want to play on a team that has Hackett on it again? Who knows how he still feels about that previous season. Do t forget Micah Hyde and Jayron Kearse are still available too. There's still some guys out there. I hope we can look at somebody just fir depth more than anything.

I liked Adams he was perfect for NY but he wasn't mature enough to ( as Garrett Wilson would say) "Keep the main thing, the main thing." So now he can kiss my ass!! Let's go Jets!!!

With Simmons it would be OVER; that guy has incredible body control. The ability to ball hawk at free safety is something the NYJ haven't had in over 20 years, since Ty Law or Kerry Rhodes.

It felt like a betrayal at the time but now with the benefit of hard feelings dying down I get that he was frustrated with the disfunction. Ultimately, he was a Jet during some trying times and I wish him well.

i’m good off diggs. he missed so many tackles last season i think he’s falling off at this point. if we go for any safety it should be simmons. other than that, i trust clark and adams in the back with davis filling in

Jamal hate from jets fans honestly isn’t even warranted. He was the only player in 2018 and 2019 that showed up and did his job. Bell and trumaine Johnson got a bag and were some of the worst players at their position and mosley got hurt his first game as a jet. And gase was the coach. Jamal was the only reason that team won more than 4 games

I disagree, the way he ended his tenure with the jets was unclassy and unprofessional. I do think he was a great player on the field for the jets and was one of the main reasons I kept watching the team every sunday.

He was in decline and his leadership was non-existent during a very hard time for us. Instead of trying to keep the team together he was toxic in the media and toxic in the locker room. A leader doesn't do that. On top of that he disrespected the organization and the fans instead of leaving with his mouth shut. He can rot.

Jamal Adams is a terrible box safety and a terrible person so I would keep him out my locker room. He over rates himself, never liked the guy, he is a me first player!
