I ordered day 1, originally thought I'd see my raptor by Christmas. Now I'm just hoping before NEXT Christmas.

Great analysis. See a lot of upset people on the forums over the delay. We live in an instant gratification society and any wait seems like an eternity. It does suck but it's all beyond any of our control. I ordered a Shelter Green Metallic RR as soon as the dealer told me the order banks were open. Only options I wanted were the keypad and spray in bed liner. I'd heard the bed liners could potentially delay orders even longer but I wasn't in a rush. Just buys more time to save towards the RR.

Thanks for the video update…I ordered mine the day allocations became available (knowing I’d be waiting about 3 months), but my guess now was about March/April with everything going on. Idc as long as it’s before next summer, haha.

I got an order number 4139. I was getting emails and texts telling me there were delays, but it has been crickets for the past several months. I put most of the options on the truck with the Blue color option.

I guess in regards to Ford you could say "Whether it be two wheel drive, four wheel drive, or NO wheels to drive"...

Ordered a ranger lariat back in mid June. I was told 3-4 months and I’d have it. I think February or march is a realistic timeframe. So definitely waiting more than twice as long which is super annoying cuz I didn’t wanna go through another winter with my small ford focus. Thought about just buying a different truck but the ranger has everything i want so I’m willing to wait for it. Hopefully time goes by fast

Likewise I can't wait to get mine, I ordered a fully loaded Red one here in Canada. I used to live in New Zealand and a buddy had an older Ranger Raptor over there and absolutely loved it, such a cool truck.

I have a 24 on order. I ordered on 10/9/23 and at that time I figured it would be a year.

Went down that road. I even sat in the Ranger Raptor at Carlisle in June. I was ready to place an order. Then I started looking at the F-150 Tremor. One disadvantage vs the RR is obviously the size and that is really only an issue if you plan on only driving tight trails. There is also no question the Ranger Raptor has a more capable off-road suspension but how often would I really need that? On the other hand, the Tremor can tow my 18 foot box trailer, and with an actual car in it. The weight is also surprisingly close between those two trucks and the price is potentially very similar depending on whether or not your dealer charges a markup on the RR. So, after taking all that into consideration, I found a '23 F-150 Tremor equipped the way I wanted it on a dealer's lot back in July and at a discount. I didn't have to wait and I got a better trade-in value for my '18 F-150 than I would have if I had to wait another six or seven months for the RR. Granted, no one could have predicted the whole UAW strike situation back in July but I had already made my choice before then and I am extremely happy with my choice despite some unfortunate dealer shenanigans during the delivery. Future plans include an extra 300 hp from the 5.0L V8 via a Roush supercharger kit which is not something I could have done with the RR. Oh, and the Tremor has a MOONROOF! 😜

Local dealers have started getting the 24 models on the lot and still have new 23 models incoming.

Wanted to order another Bronco, currently have 22 OBX, but given up on that. So now I wanted to order a Ranger, so I guess that's also on the back burner.

I recently placed an order for the xlt trim package on the 27th of December, and I was informed that the current wait time is 6 to 10 months. The dealership even has doubts that the 2.7L versions may not even come out this year. I went with the options that the dealer is unable to do, so that the likelihood that my truck would get built. You really need to sit down and figure out what the dealerships are able to do and what only the factory can do. The more bare bones you can choose your options with the idea that the dealerships can fulfill the rest of your requirements, means shorter build times.

I am hoping to get a 2025 RR after they finally build the first of them! Time being I will hold onto my 22F150-Tremor

Even thought it is barley not wide enough they should of don’t the raptor lights in the grill, and they should have done the amber DRL’s like all other raptors, along with the 60/40 split in the back seats. But over all about time they are bringing this to the US I hope the aftermarket is ready for this shortly after the first customers take there orders and maybe parts made can be used on last model rangers, even though this a redesign. @ford !

I was planning on ordering an xlt with the 2.7L, but that option won't be available until at least summer 2024. This is now 2 years in a row that Ford has fumbled the ball with me, and I am done with these antics. My family has been a loyal customer of our local dealer for almost 40 years, and that is looking like it is coming to an end. When I got the notice from Ford that my f450 order was not going to be fulfilled, I had to look to Ram to get what I needed. This time around, I am going to be looking at the 2024 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon X. As far as I am concerned, I am done with Ford.

This is ridiculous, the rest of the world already has Ranger trucks even with more and more variants already even a freaking VW Amarok. What’s it gonna take for us to have a T6.2 based truck? Instead Ford would rather have us buy their more profitable F150 by investing most of their resources there instead of this truck. The fact that we had to wait 2 years until we got a US release for the truck yet they can’t even make us the truck because of “supply chain issues” when they’re still offering us all their other models in addition are producing the truck in other parts of the world no problem is unacceptable. GM is already producing the Colorado and Canyon no problem even after the UAW so what’s the excuse

Question, is Fords plans still to send at lease one Ranger Raptor to every dealership? The reason I ask, is because the dealership I have a relationship with has promised me that if they get one it’s mine. That being said I had also asked them to place an order for me and it appears they used my build as their order because I don’t have any confirmation from Ford about my actual order. And yes, the dealership took a deposit for my order. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I ordered the Ranger Raptor in june but never received an email back from Ford with the VIN #. How sad 😢. Did my order even go through?... no options Just black color.

I put my order and my truck paid off to trade in for the raptor. I’m worried now I won’t get what I want for it.

Ordered the Lariat way back in May. Pretty bummed. Love my 2020 F-150 but it's too much truck for what I need. Want to sell it for max. value. Only like 35K miles on it. GRRRRRRRRR

I have just went by my Large dealership in my area and they had only 1 out of 4 remaining allocations not claimed.. I took it and I am happy for it to be delayed and am fine with it... I Don't want it till Summer or Later as I am planning to save AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE to make financing as low as possible to pay it off ASAP.. There is that and the fact that interest rates are still to high with no plans of them going down till Spring per the Federal Reserved.. so the longer the better IMHO.. It just gives me more time to save for a good down payment

I ordered a Black one back in August my friend works at a Ford dealer and he got me one of there allocation's i've had two emails from Ford since and all they could say was sometime in the first quarter i'm not holding my breath i have a 2021 Ranger Lariat so i'm not walking so when it's here it's here oh i almost forgot they did hit me with $5000 over sticker but that's cheap considering what some dealers are charging.

You may get your Mustang fixed before you see any of the Raptors on order.

Dave there are only 3,700 rangers in the build backlog... But, does anyone know how many Raptors are in the queue? And I'm not excited by the Raptor at all. It's going to be WAY too expensive for me. I am interested in a basic Ranger though!!

As far as I'm aware the new ranger was supposed to be out November-ish of 2022. I'm sorry, nice truck but I've given up on it, looks nice they did a good job but I'm kinda over it.

I wouldn’t touch a Bronco unless it’s used. I have a 2022 Wildtrak customized inside and out with 20k miles and it’s dropped 40% in value.

Base Zr2 is a great deal. Lockers and good power for the size. ranger raptor starts at 8k more. 48-56k

please do not ! do not buy FORD again, I did the mistake of my life by buying from FORD, it's not worth it at all, the vehicles come in so many defects from manufacturer and the company tries to gaslight and deny the existence of so many apparent problems. please save your money for something that gives you no headache. I regret the moment I decided to get a ford ranger raptor 2024. please stay away for your own good. thank me later.
