Ifrica revealed earlier this year.
During her Live video, Ifrica claimed that the alleged experience inspired her activism for abuse survivors and, according to her, was also one source of inspiration for the 2009 song Daddy, which spoke out against sexual assault.
Morgan and his family vehemently denied the allegations, pointing out that the singer is visually impaired and physically disabled. They have since retained attorney at law Charles Ganga-Singh, to pursue legal action against Ifrica.
“It hurts me because a lot of media picked it up and they bashed me as a rapist, dem ting de hurt me man,” Morgan told in this interview. Legendary ska singer Derrick Morgan has shared the story of his relationship with his daughter Queen Ifrica, including their initial connection when she reached adulthood and later falling out over his booking fee for a Rebel Salute performance.

Now I was molested by my cousin husband whom both raised me ,my cousin beat the hell out of me , and didn’t believe me that the man raped me. He had his money so no one cared I was a child 😢. The part in which he says he ran Ifrica mom away when she told him she were pregnant put him into a very "ticklish" position with respect to the allegation. He may well be innocent, but that cold-blooded action to the mom may be very "troublesome" to his denial of the allegation.

Plenty of women and of all Races have been found guilty of Crying & lying Rape .Some for blackmail,some for Strange Fame & attention. There are many reasons but I personally know someone this happened too and he went to prison for 10 yrs until she recanted and was fined & jailed for 2 yrs. A Sad situation but it happens more than people think. . I Just pray for both Dad & daughter ,only God knows the truth. I take No sides because time & God will reveal the truth‼️

When I was 11 years old & other young people who got raped by 30+ men, as youngsters, we (the victims) tend to live in shame until we reached adulthood. Notwithstanding, it happens between mothers and sons as well. He has too much to lose by admitting. In one of his daughter's interviews, he said she admitted to the then-interviewer that the song was not about her dad. I would love to see the interview. I hope our host can dig it up. That would convince us the "Doubtful Thomases" that she is lying. Her father should then be vindicated, and she should extend a public apology and admit to lying. This man is obviously in declining health. Sad to watch.

Ifrica is dealing with a lot of trauma from his unkind ways. I remember him referring to someone and made the comment 'dotty rasta' and she was so upset with him. He wanted to sleep with me in order to produce me and so I know he is not innocent, he was blind then while he was doing those things.

N again the doctor said u had night blindness meaning from my understanding u could see some what while being pierce to the black board. N again night blindness meaning u could see some what during the day..... right? So u Fabian should asked him to explain how that was from birth.....so as a listener I'm a bit lost right there.... hence I'm not pointing fingers I just need to understand I never hear u said u wouldn't do such immoral and incesting thing. Let me educate you. Derrick was born with Retinosa Pigmentosis. That’s a genetic disease, where the person blindness increases with time. By age 17 , he couldn’t see well enough to continue working as a stenographer. So, he went to singing. By age 60, he was fully blind. Do you get it now?

With respect listening to the man talk he is not very articulate AND that's why he could easily have incriminated his self because of his limited vocabulary and/or because of the sheer stress of the allegations. Think of this, Queen Ifika is emotionally weak at the moment and needs support and guidance, she needs to ovstand why Derick Morgan rejected her Mother. In other words the root of the allegation could be Queen Ifrika feeling of rejection from Derek Morgan & she was, as a young child. Tony Rebel was RIGHT to advise Queen Ifrika about how Queen Ifrika singing the song could implicat Derick Morgan.... If Queen Ifrika is lying she needs urgent mental health counselling, if she is innocent & the victim she still needs counselling. Derick Morgan should explain why he rejected Queen Ifrika mother, however if they were not in a committed relationship as cold as his response was to the pregnancy he did not have to stay with the baby mother, though he should have helped the baby mother raise their child.

I can't say if the allegation made against Derrick Morgan is true or not, but so far, some of the things he is saying check out. 1. The song Daddy sung by Queen Ifrica was written by: Kemar Richardo Mcgregor / Paul Crossdale / and Ventrice Latora Morgan aka (Queen Ifrica) in that order. If this was a personal song what the hell are the other people doing writing this song? One would think if the story was true, it would be her penmanship. I don't get that! 2. The man is totally blind for most of his life and met her when he was so! 3. Why a lawsuit, why not run and hide? Wouldn't the lawsuit expose him if it was true? I don't know if it is true or not but people are innocent until proven guilty!
