Ifrica revealed earlier this year.
During her Live video, Ifrica claimed that the alleged experience inspired her activism for abuse survivors and, according to her, was also one source of inspiration for the 2009 song Daddy, which spoke out against sexual assault.
Morgan and his family vehemently denied the allegations, pointing out that the singer is visually impaired and physically disabled. They have since retained attorney at law Charles Ganga-Singh, to pursue legal action against Ifrica.
“It hurts me because a lot of media picked it up and they bashed me as a rapist, dem ting de hurt me man,” Morgan told in this interview. Legendary ska singer Derrick Morgan has shared the story of his relationship with his daughter Queen Ifrica, including their initial connection when she reached adulthood and later falling out over his booking fee for a Rebel Salute performance.

He wanting to disown and abuse her mother be ause she told him she was pregnant is so disgraceful , even for him to be talking about it like that with no remorse. They say that the one who shit a pass don't remember it but the one who step in it. Once he truthfully and respectfully tell his story he has nothing to worry about. If a man is an handicap it does not prevent him from doing wrongs. The man with the one hand who accuse of stealing a bag of flour was almost acquitted when the judge told him to take it and he quickly pick it up and throw it on his shoulder, that was the price that he really did it. It’s funny how Mr Morgan is imitating Queen Ifrika as someone who is vulgar and brawling but Mr Morgan him self is vulgar and brawling. Mr Morgan son is very bias too. As a doctor you should know that everyone handles trauma differently where it be rape, physical or mental abuse. Also Mr Morgan says he has lots of women friends and daughters but what does that got to be with the situation. It’s easier for him to allegedly see Queen Ifrika in a sexual manner because he has no connection with her as daddy and daughter. The thing about this situation is it’s very sensitive if she is lying on Her dad or if the dad in fact did it. Remember there are actual rape victims in the world that are scared to come forward because of situations like this the backlash they face because the accused is of status and are loved by their fans. One may tolerate the thought if she was 12 or even 15 years old, but not a big woman of 20 years old with two kids. If the Father Don't Touch Me song was written for someone else, the songwriter can dispute everything here. Another problem is why one woman can get raped so often and not develop a better defense. Strange. If the man is blind and his hand touches somewhere, she says, " Don't touch me there. It could inspire a thought that inspires imagination to twist things to write a song. She didn't write the song? That's odd. She is certainly credited as the writer. Why doesn't the writer sue her for publishing royalties? Plenty of money to be had there. Something doesn't sound right. An 83 year old blind man still dying his beard is a good indication that this person can't accept reality. Ifrica isn't asking for money. I don't know any person who would put themselves through that type of public scrutiny for nothing, especially a successful star who is doing well. The fact that he ran the mother off and called her a liar with no apology all these years later speaks volumes about his character. He should be given a lie detector test. I'm sure Ifrica will have no problem with taking one.

I think Ifrika is mentally unstable. I don't believe her story. She tries very hard to get attention. I can think of her involvement in the Cockpit Country saga as well as how she injected herself in the Maroon Community situation. It is possible that she suffered sexual abuse in the past, including with her long term partner but I think she is making up the story about her father assaulting her. I don't think this man is lying!

The truth about all of this is that we the fans of both Derrick and Queen Ifrica are the ones left to suffer. It is like kids caught in the middle of marital chaos between a wife and husband. I hope somehow both parties can finally resolve this issue and allow healing to start. Only two people know the truth. Derrick and Ifrica. We can't judge either way. Sad situation, but hopefully both father and daughter can pick up the pieces after this.

I'm the guitarist that was with Lloyd Parkes band we even had a discussion over a situation i was having in 1999. My main reason for reaching out to you is that i have the same issue with night blindness . was told that the possibility of having it corrected exist but the success rate was not comforting ( 7 out of every 10 fail) this means 3 are successful resulting in blindness for the 7 that fails. I hail you on your tremendously great career and pray that this mountain placed before you be removed in short timing.

As a doctor who claim psychology as part of his practice he would have lose his privileges as a therapist for making such statement about how rape victims should or shouldn’t behave. This family/son is dangerously bias. This interview is really showing them up and how they truly feel about Queen Ifrika.
