If they did a Christian / Muslim etc night and a gay player didn't wanna wear the jersey I would have no problem with it, and I would bet the media wouldn't try to make the player look like an evil bigot

Fans did not complain about players not wearing the rainbow jersey, in fact Provorov's jersey was the number 1 seller after his statement, this is exactly the same as Kramer in Seinfeld when they told him he HAS to wear the aids ribbon 🎗 and he said "that's why I'm not"
