I'm in medical school. People who don't know about science shouldn't talk about this stuff. I like show biz but he has no reference knowledge about blood and urine testing and how it works. These measurements are done to quantify the amount of drug in your body per milliliter. If you know volumes, milliliters are a very small amount of liquid, your body contains many liters of liquid total. Drug tests will test for remnants of unmetabolized drugs remaining your system, meaning when you take a drug, your body will convert most of it to other things and it will eventually be expelled from your body. That's why these tests have to pick up on small amounts because when you inject or consume a drug, it's not all going to just be flowing around your system. Your body METABOLIZES it, meaning it's converted into different things and is eventually eliminated as waste. Your body takes time to fully metabolize something you ingest and trace amounts of substances still remain. Let's say you ingest 3 grams of coca cola, if you know what I mean, if you take a blood test literally right after you do the Oscar lines, the test is NOT going to say "3grams of coca cola per ml" that would be absurd. It's going to be micrograms or nanograms per milliliter. I think it's important we wrap our heads around the science of drug testing because a guy like showbiz who knows nothing about science is spewing misleading info. Some people consume weed chronically in the form of edibles, concentrate, and smoking. They consume many many grams of this stuff and if they stop doing it for a week or two, they can take a drug test and their urine levels are gauged in a nanogram per milliliter scale because that's how drug metabolism works. If you eat a 300mg edible right now you will feel strong effects of the drug. If you take a drug test in three days after that, your levels will likely be around 100ng/ml or maybe a bit higher. Let's stop acting like nanograms means it was a tiny amount, that's not how it works.

Showbizz said 1 in a billion of a gram when it was 60 in a billion of a gram. Both measurement/dosage in grams are still very very low for it to be rendered used for a performance enhancement. Showbizz didn't forge the content he simply took the term billion in grams as 1 billion in a gram. I can see how he made that assumption. This is a learning lesson for Showbizz. Next time he should just state what is read so there aren't any missinterpreted messages conveyed. Once the test results come back for the supplements that Ryan took it'll show that the ingestion of a banned substance was unintentionally done. He'll eventually be cleared.
