@@bedstuyta7424 Nope it can't happen. The steroids that you see on creams to treat a rash are Glucocorticoids. Performance enhancing Steroids are Androgens, and they are not found in those types of cream you buy in the pharmacy. They are structurally different and have way different effects in your body. The only thing they share is that they are derived from cholesterol, that's why they both are categorized as Steroids.

Why does everyone act like pro athletes are chemists or physicians? Trainers and coaches are hired because these athletes are NOT biology experts. It is not hard to see how an athlete can end up using prohibited substances and be unaware that they are doing something wrong. It's like when your accountant cooks your books and doesn't tell you.

I kind of agree BUT A when you're dealing with the top top elite level, multi million dollar athletes, they have all of the resources to set up a system of checks and balances to ENSURE they don't put something that they shouldn't in their system... An amateur making $1000 a fight taking tainted supplements? Sure that's understandable, but when you make $10M+ a fight, there's no excuse. Why do you think guys say they spent $300K - $500+ on training camps? lol

I think in boxing if both fighters dont care and want to use steroids they should be allowed but its also very easy for the fighter to take something and not know what it is

Shane Mosley, was the most ripped fighter of his generation. Hell yeah I believe he took steroids!!! I believe his still taking something now. However it still doesn’t take away for me how great of a fighter I felt he was. He’s definitely Hall Of Famer!!!
