The easy way to break Sauron is just play changelings. Army is a creature type so you can get tons of ring tempts and discard/draw procs

Changeling Outcast + Auton Soldier = 4 unblockable Army tempts per swing. It's quite disgusting.

@CharlesNelson303 Honestly I'd just play it like I did Yuriko. Play all the 1 mana unblockable and play Maskwood like effects

@@michaelgierusz5754 That's always an option, I do run Maskwood. And then Anger, Wonder, Filth and Urborg, so everything is almost always unblockable or evasive.

Laboratory Maniac seems essential here. You can shred through your deck at breakneck pace with Sauron and the Nazgûl, plus you have other wheel effects.

I’ve slowly been turning my Sauron deck into an aristocrats combo deck lol. So far it can win via “infinite” life loss/gain, infinite damage from an infinite sacrifice trigger and that combo also makes infinite colorless mana so I can cast exsanguinate or walking balista for huge X amounts to drain or ping my opponents to death

I will note. With that enchantment out. You can never start amassing armies because it'll just die to zero toughness instantly. So uh. Keep that in mind I guess? Not like the army is super necessary when compared to the value of a four drop sauron.

Question: would "Gollum, patient plotter" be a good include? he can be a consistent way for the ring to tempt you over and over for 3 mana (sacrificing and targeting himself to his own ability)

I run feast of sanity and use the multiple discard to ping damage and heal!

Sorry to break this to you, but with the heartless summoning, your orcs would die on etb because of the -1/-1 that the enchantment gives

Maybe im just not understanding something but i dont get where you get so many +1/+1 counters from you only get +1/+1 for each ring tempt but in the playtest whenever you drop two nazgul you put one of them all the way up to 7/9 sorry just confused definitely possible im missing something

Every Nazgul will trigger off the single ring tempt. So if you have 5 nazgul you'll get to shove 5 counters on all of them. :)

@@decktechsfordecks ok I see now I wasn't taking into account each one of them saying "each wraith you control" for some reason I was thinking 1 tempt would just mean 1 counter on each of them. Thank you for clarifying because I have a sauron deck that I have been playing very wrong lol at least I can blame it on how new I am to the game.
