I was in the same place you are Patrick for a long time, very frustrating I know. I got his course called alternate picking mastery and I studied and followed along and did as it said, because this was something I really wanted! And within six months I started to notice results, then it just EXPLODED and something clicked. Now I play those fast runs with a big grin on my face. So rewarding 😊 I have purchased many other courses since then with equal results. Clause is an excellent teacher and makes things easy to understand. And his courses contain enough information that you will continue to refer to them for a long time. Not to mention he has some serious skills in all styles of music! Shred on my brother

this is exactly the point where i am at with my alternate picking : i DID my slow accuracy,i DID my millionS of repetions literally ! ....and i still struggle to " unlock " my wrist, at least that what it feels like. And you are probably right, i should go back to one string pattern. I m still f ing up when it comes to relaxation AND speed AND accuracy at once. When speeding upbi loose the ability to change strings after a downstroke.. ...yeah, it sucks,i ve def been putting in the time. Any further suggestions 😂? Ok , take my son to bed,then practise.
