I’m just eager to get back out there I couldn’t resist breaking trail after a severe snow storm! 2-3 ft in places and the most work I’ve ever had to put in for a moderate 4,000 footer in NH. Luckily there wasn’t major drifting on the immediate trail.. whew.. But I literally almost have up 1/2 a mile to the Cabin which is really close to the summit! Thank God for the Gridder who got there at the exact same time as me, we took turns breaking this trail out. Wouldn’t have been able to summit without him.
Mt Cabot isn’t the most popular of the 48 4,000 footers but it sure looked gorgeous in the fluffy white snow! I love the trail, and the stream it followed along with the small little peakaboo views around the summit. Wonderful!
