Dude I wanted to laugh but I just got out of a toxic relationship just like this one. I was always giving and seldom receiving anything. Everybody liked my girlfriend and as she was conventionally attractive, "exotic" (a true Japanese), well spoken and had a nice job, I was lying to myself, thinking that she was "the one". She wanted to marry and I was all up for it, until I had a conversation about how we were supposed to split our common spendings, as I could not afford to pay for everything once she moved in with me (she was supposed to leave Japan for my country). Long story short, we got into a fight, she ghosted me for two months and then she broke up our engagement by text, saying something along the lines of "you only think about your own feelings, I need a man I can rely on". I thought I was going to be distraught, but I felt weirdly relieved. It's been three weeks and I think about her less and less. Easiest break-up of my life, emotionally speaking. Man, I dodged a bullet. Fuck these entitled bitches.

@jmanzproduces5454 it's a long story but pretty much she started messaging other dudes, and when I told her to stop, called me 'controlling'. She would constantly belittle me, and when I had enough and tried to leave, she would hit me and prevent me from doing so. I kept ending things with her, but she kept begging me for another chance promising me she'd change, and that she'd never find another guy like me. And me being a dumbass, kept taking her back because she was super hot. I think I was insecure also, and kept thinking I'd never find a chick as hot as her again. Eventually one day things got really heated, I left because she was screaming at me again. 2 days later we were hanging out again and she confessed to cheating because she was upset with me. I finally ended things 100%. She kept saying things like "no guy ever breaks up with me". Well guess I was the 1st. , and to this day, she still tries to contact me. But I'm just taking a break from chicks & chilling, working & taking care of myself. You gotta be happy with yourself before you try bring a girl into your life. I stuck around for years longer than I should have just because I thought it was cool having a hot gf. But now I know, I have pride in myself to let her go. Ngl it still hurts but I know it was the right thing to do, and I couldn't look at myself the same if I stayed with her.

Had this exact thing happen to me. I was dropping off a girl I was seeing, when we got to her house I stepped out to say goodbye and let her know things weren’t working for me. I started by saying nice things because I didn’t know how to start off a convo like that. So she’s smiling thinking I’m complimenting her and all that and then when she realizes what’s going on her mood shifts one hundo to more of a panic. Then she looks at me and says “I feel like we can fix this” and smiled, nodding her head towards the back of the car. My dumbass is like “….. wait….. right now?”. She smiles while nodding her head yes. Next thing you know we’re bumping hard body karate in the back seat of the car. A couple weeks after it ended mutually over texts, thankfully. I never would’ve been able to end it in person. She could’ve got it every damn time lol.

I had the reverse happen. Every time my ex and I broke up (happened like 4x over the years) we'd hang out a few days later and I'd subtly put the moves on and by the end of the night we'd be back together. One time it was the same day we broke up, we went out for a "breakup drink" at my behest and it turned into several which turned into me walking her home which turned into us back together the next morning. Good times. Too bad eventually it happened for real.
