5 жыл бұрынThe Great Calamity was a catastrophic event, resulting in thousands of innocent lives lost. Without the support of the Champions and Princess, Hyrule was at the mercy of Calamity Ganon.
But this also brings up many questions. One of which is whether Ganon had planned WHEN he would return. It could be as simple as because of the absence of all "key" players. But is there another reason? Let's find that out in today's episode!

Ganon came back the moment Mipha was about to say that her healing is powered by the hots she has for Link because Ganon is an avid ZeLink shipper and he doesn't want some fishthot to stink up his OTP. He feared that if he hadn't come back at that exact moment his ship would've been ruined.

Wow, these videos really make me realize how much thought and effort were put into these cutscenes!! The Mipha details at the end really sold this theory for me!! Fantastic Job!! :)

I had rewatched that scene about 100 times, and with the false end I was already heading to the comments to confirm it 100% that Mipha was going to say something along the lines of this vid.Then how impactful Zeldas choice to stay with them was to awaken her power due to the interruption of Ganon. So many details I didnt put together in the grand scheme. Great vid

Ehh. Typically what happens is the developers dont actually think about things like this. Usually theorists are the ones able to piece together scraps from something like story and make it more understandable.

@@warrior1590 Thats not as true anymore, they are aware of theorists now,and while there is plenty theorists find in the games that wasnt intentional, the devs have been getting more into games to be theory fodder. A big example are the leviathan bone quests in BotW itself, its basically the embodiment of the "which timeline theories" manifested. Then combined with the classic Nintendo polish, the potential those creative ppl there have to leave us bread trails is over 9000. Lol

This video makes me realize how much thought was given to the subtleties in these cutscenes. Can you do a video on the final dialogue at the end of the game. I always thought the words between Link and Zelda with her mentioning the wavering of her powers after 100 years was weak sauce. Maybe there’s more to it than I thought.

Hey NBC! Whenever I see that memory with Mipha, I always think she would have said "it helps when I think about Link". Even though it would have been awkward saying that in front of Link, in my mind, I think it would have been her last way of telling Link that she loved him. Watching this with the botw2 teaser in mind makes me wonder if ganon was sealed in the castle by the hylians or shelia. That is probably why he couldn't leave the castle during the game.

The whole mipha looking at link as a way to unlock the power was immediately clear to me while seeing this memory. But this is one of the last memories I collected, after doing zora's domain and divine beast, so that might have influenced it heavily.

Great video! I love the thought and reasoning behind this video! Ol’ Ganon fell for the common plot device of trying to kill the chosen ones/lovers in front of each other. That never works well. Too bad for everyone involved, it seems like after plans a, b and c failed, there was still plan d. Really excited about the sequel and how it ties to the first game!

I was reading the document and found this... The Timeshift Stone installed on the main mast, if used properly, has an 85% probability of clearing the ship interior of obstacles. I conjecture that it is possible to strike the Timeshift Stone outside from within the ship as long as it is visible from your location. That means if it's used PROPERLY

I dont even know if this is a theroy so much as you stating the facts of the matter. This was well reserched. I dont think Gannon knew what conversation was happening at that time, Mipha explaining how to use hidden powers, that was just a coincidence. He however did know that Zelda had visited the spring of Wisdom. He had to assume that her powers had been awakened. He couldnt wait any longer. Also, to add to the theroy that Gannon was waiting to regain his stregnth, he was also waiting on the Sheikah and Royal Family to discover more Sheikah tech. The Royal Family had only recently began to excavate the Guardians and Divine Beasts, and the Champions were still learning how to pilot them. He was waiting because more unearthed Sheikah Tech meant more weapons after he unleashes his Malice. He couldnt strike after Zelda's mothers death because he couldnt leave the castle. He needed to wait for the unearthed Guardians and Divine Beasts.

Link is a threat to ganon? Doesn't seem likely, but there's one big but. Link in some Zelda games has the triforce of courage. The powers of this part of the triforce might be its user able to respawn as many times as he likes. That explains why link could come back and use save points (similar with undertale) and beat ganon after as many tries as he needs (even millions) of trial and error.
