❤Normal Breath sounds heard on throat /neck - - - bronchial breath sound--high pitch ❤Normal. Breath sound heard on upper part of lung--bronchovesicular breath sound ❤Normal Breath sound heard on lower part of lungs parenchyma---vesical breath sound thru attenuation and filtration method Bcoz sound has to pass thru different/multiple medias so vesicular br sound heard after attenuation and filteration ❤Due to alteration in lung parenchyma can cause bronchial breath sound to be heard on auscultation lungs ♦️Pneumonia - - lung replaced as a solid str--pneumonic consolidation--bronchial br sound heard If main bronchus blocked by a mucus plug - - no breath sound heard Liquified phase of pneumonia--crepitation are heard on aiscultation ♦️Pleural effusion--fluid collection between pleural layers--vesicular breath sound heard but diminished ♦️Pneumothorax-- air outside the lung---air bad conductor of sound--diminished vesicular br sound ♦️Tumor connection with main bronchus.. On auscultation gets bronchial breath sound ♦️On cavities of lung in connection with main bronchus--cavernous breath sound is heard ♦️♦️Note if major bronchus blocked by any reason u won't get any breath sound on auscultation ♦️Pleural thickening in pleurisy - - crepitation heard on auscultation ♦️Asthma, COPD, pulmonary edema--major bronchus consrtricted--air pass in and out forcefully thru this area--musical sound wheeze is heard on auscultation ♦️In ILD, PULMONARY Edema, resolving part of pneumonia on auscultation-crepitation are heard
