It amazes me how many show the Bohemian Rhapsody /AGT performance that stops before Heidi gives Angelina the Golden Buzzer. There is a studio recording of Angelina singing I Who Have Nothing her first time in a Studio at age 5. You really should try that one. I think it is Grandma Mery taking the video.

Hello, we are so blessed to be able to experience her, I have been following her for 4 years when I found her on AGT The Campions. Now I have to listen to it every day, it's part of my daily routine. For me she is like a healthy drug that my mind cries out for. She's 18 now and still getting better live, she's a superpower. There are over 200 cover songs of hers that are mostly better than the original as well as 13 originals that she wrote and there are still over 100 songs that were written by her in the drawer waiting to be released so we still have a lot to look forward to . A&R (Artists and repertoire) Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California is Angelina's A&R person, and he has been working with AJ since she signed with the largest record company in the world at the age of 14, three years ago. Rob was the MC of AJ Christmas Show that aired Dec 23, of 21. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Barbara Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. I don't have any direct evidence of this, but I think it is _highly_ likely that they got her to cry in that pre-song interview by having her talk about her late grandfather, who passed away about 19 months earlier. She has basically said that he was the inspiration for her choosing to sing this song. (Specifically, she said that the song "reminds" her of him, when she was asked to talk about the song that she was going to sing on the show.) For the record, she was about to lose another grandfather 7 weeks after this performance, from an aggressive cancer that was diagnosed less than a year before, so that probably also played into her emotion in that moment.

I can tell by your reaction you need to take a little time away from the computer and then listen to Angelina's performance again. You were 'amazed' by what you were listening to and although you thought very highly of her performance you didn't let it reach inside you to get the full impact. When you listen to it again for your personal pleasure you will understand what I mean. When the video first started Angelina was answering questions from someone we couldn't see. As you said she did appear to be nervous and wiped away what appeared to be a tear in her right eye. But when the performance started not a trace of nervousness. She was once asked when she was little why she didn't get nervous when she sang in front of many people. Her reply: "The happiest I am in my life is when I am on stage singing for everyone." Enjoy the journey you are about to go on. It will be like going on a ride as a kid in an Amusement Park and you never want it to end!

Thanks for your reaction. Angelina has been called the girl with 1000 voices, and each one is welcoming and sincere. She is easily my all time favorite singer-storyteller as she is able to make me feel like I am part of the story. This is my favorite vocal performance, since the original is such a great song and 13 year old Angelina created a fabulous arrangement and delivered it flawlessly.

Actually she auditioned at NGT when she was 7 and won the show several months later at 8.

The youngest studio recordings are at 6 years old. Not only does she read song lyrics in another language than her natuve tongue even though in Norway they do start to learn English around then. But even more impressive than all that, voice, etc, is in the video of "I who have Nothing" You see her interaction with the schools producer.
