Angelina got the golden Buzzer and got to the finals, BUT she never had a chance to win. She did not sign the contracts with the owner of this show, he had to sign of his rights for her performances to her. This was confirmed by different sources.

For everyone who doesn't know yet: Not only did Angelina get the golden buzzer from judge Heidi Klum, but she also received huge praise from the remaining members of the legendary Queen. Queen were delighted with Angelina's arrengement and shared it on Twitter with the words "WOW, what a rendition" (three years later they repeated their praise on TT in March 27th 2023 with the words "absolutely killed it".) *Why Angelina always performs barefoot* At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. Angelina's grandmother is an Iranian artist. When Angelina was six, she visited a Middle Eastern country. While out walking, she encountered a barefoot young girl who was weighing people on a portable scale in exchange for change. Angelina stopped to speak with her. As they spoke the little girl told Angelina told her that her dream was to grow up and become a doctor. (Not possible in a place girls are denied education.) Angelina said her dream was to grow up and sing for the entire world. She then took off her own shoes and gave them to the little girl. The girl told Angelina she would pray for her, and Angelina promised to do the same. After returning home to Norway, Angelina wrote a short book about the incident, which was sold to raise money for charity. Angelina promised to never perform on stage while wearing shoes to both honor that girl's memory and bring attention to child poverty. Angelina Angelina went on to perform at many charity events and raising millions while still a child. This story has been repeated so many different ways i doubt my version is perfectly accurate. It’s what i first heard at least four years ago.

I've been following her for 4 years when I found her on AGT The Campions. Now I have to listen to it every day, it's part of my daily routine. For me she is like a healthy drug that my mind cries out for. She's 18 now and still getting better live, she's a superpower. There are over 200 cover songs of hers that are mostly better than the original as well as 13 originals that she wrote and there are still over 100 songs that were written by her in the drawer waiting to be released so we still have a lot to look forward to . I just watched an amazing performance of "My Funny Valentine" live from her Las Vegas show (at 18 years old) but was just as entranced watching her perform Alan Walkers "Faded" at a Norway concert (not the one with Alan but with her jazz band) at 12 years old an hour ago. Goosebumps and chills are certainly two of Angelina's specialties, as you found out for yourself! Nice observation questioning whether Angelina was performing as a competitor on the show or whether she was on as a guest star performer. Technically, this was her "audition" on AGT for that season of The Champions, but Angels around the world always scoff at that term; even at the tender age of 13, Angelina was already way, way beyond "auditioning" for anything.

AGT Simon First, and foremost; Angelina was not on that show to win. This was quite simply to promote and expose the US public to this prodigy that comes along maybe once in a generation. To win, AJ’s family would have had to sign a contract with Simon, and he would have been in control of her future. Her family would not allow that to happen. It was not question of money offered because AJ was already worth 2 to 3 million at the age of 13, and her family are very wealthy.
