Breathtaking Olden | A destination guide

This morning we woke to find us docking in the little village of Olden.
We docked at 9am and our departure was planned for 5pm.
Come along with us as we show you how we spent our day in this port and visiting Europes largest glacier. There really is so much natural beauty in this part of the world and the views we found simply breathtaking that no picture could ever do it justice.

One thing we will never forget about this village is the hospitality of its locals and the send off we got was overwhelming.

Checked out some photos there, there is definitely a difference. The area is still breathtaking.

Thank you for bringing us along. Great video! We booked this excursion for when we visit in June. Was the walk from the troll car to the glacier an easy walk?

Thanks for your comment. The walk itself only took around 15 mins max, but some parts were steep and on stoney paths

Hi, How did you pay in cafes and shop's with a card or did you exchange money ?

Hi we used a credit card with a good exchange rate. Everywhere accepted card payment 💳

So, would you recommend not booking anything ahead of time and just winging it? We definitely want to do the Sky Lift….not sure about the glacier/ troll car excursion.

Thanks for your comment. There are loads of things you can book when you arrive there. We suggest if there is something you really wanna see and do then book ahead to avoid disappointment. We booked through Olden Adventure 👍

Can you tell me if there are any bathroom facilities near the glacier walk? Once you get off the little cars by the glacier

Hi. The little hut by the troll car drop off point is a covered picnic area. The only toilets I believe are at where the coaches drop you off next to the cafe and gift shop
