Well the mangaka Eichiro Oda has been working on it for 27 years now...and he's worked himself into the hospital a couple of times. The anime team however has been basically told to cut loose over the last few years. You'll see it's starts off as a pretty typical late 90s anime...and then has two decades of progression in quality.

And this is the world. The best part of One Piece are the characters. This Series is so crazy deep, it's insane. I hope you'll watch/read One Piece before it get's known what the "One Piece" is gonna be. I think you'll read/watch the series diffrent when we adventualy know what it is. Have fun in this crazy, funny, sad, impressive and stunning story. Stay awesome ^^

It's a great video and an even better series, couldn't recommend it more. Skip the filler episodes your first watch through, trust me.. later in the story you'll start getting these "holy crap it's all connected" moments, and the filler content opens up quite a number of plot holes. New here.. first thing just watch the series whether it get the likes or not simply don't put the video's onn.. just watch it personally.. look I'm catch up to the Manga and not just that but I'm in the Chapter leaks and forums everywhere that how can I get more new information about one piece on anything anime manga merch all sorts of things.. if you love the world in general like our real world and even if like to learn history even for 2-5% den you are on the greatest journey to learn how the world is wht the world is how the world operates everything about the society like we live day to day.. coz ODA!! the writer of this series to me has read all the holy books in this world.. Jewish Christian Muslim hindu Greek like everything coz there is everything about their mythology.. like there are literal GOD'S in this series' and believe me like this isn't just a simple story about a pirate finding the treasure or some GOD'S fighting another GOD'S like we see in Indian films or webseries it's way beyond our imagination.. as you'll progress to the story you'll start to connect all the dots into the right place.. to simply put ONE PIECE is based on the principle of "TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN'' like heads & tails.. if you see something this first time then you have to imagine the same scenario but on a next huge level.. everything in this story is well & truly connected to each other.. so if you are going to start the story which I'll highly recommend you to it's a highly humble request to you to not to skip any ep in whatever reason you have like as of today "1112" have aired till so watch exactly this or skip even for the filler or anything.. coz in this story nothing is filler in anyway or form.. everything is canon to the story which means everything is a part of the story.. and also don't watch like me I did when I catch up the anime in less than 19-20 days when they aired 1000th ep coz the reason was simple I really love HANCOCK!! She was the core for me to start one piece and look where I am now in one piece in the deepest part of it.. so just imagine how much more you'll like.. i used to watch 40-50 ep on average daily my highest was i think 67-73 I don't remember exactly.. I won't recommend this method coz take your own time like daily 2-3 ep totally depends upon you.. I watched the series' when the lockdown was there and I mean the first total lockdown.

If you start watching One Piece - I recommend you to look up the episode guide to cut out filler episodes (except for the G8 filler after Skypiea). And if you start disliking the pacing - switch to One Pace which is more true to the manga. The anime does take liberties in making episodes last quite a bit longer.
