Blue Faced Leicester is a popular Longwool breed among handspinners. I have dyed it as roving, though I've never processed it from locks. I had a very small washed sample to work with, and you can see my results.
Please remember that my sample is only representative of a small part, and m,y opinions are just that; my opinions.
Regardless, I hope some of this is of use to you.

I raise blue face leicester. Lovely sweet natured sheep. We sheer on monday. Lots of long 6 inch plus fiber.

Such an interesting video. I'm just starting out with spinning and weaving. I recently purchased a blue faced Leicester fleece. It is the greasiest fleece I have ever seen. It is probably not in top condition. Very hard to remove the yellowing. It is beautifully soft though. Keep up the good videos. Thanks.
