How to Sell Stocks on Webull App: 3 Ways!

Webull is an investing app that has largely made a name for itself by being free and for giving away a lot of free stocks. But if you want to get rid of them for whatever reason, you need to sell them. Here's how!
There are 3 main ways to sell your stocks: A market order, a limit order and a stop order. They are all very different and serve a specific purpose based on your goals and preferences. A market order is the simplest and fastest of the 3. It sells your stocks immediately for whatever the current price is. This is handy if you just want to get rid of them quickly and don't need a specific price to happen. A limit order gives you far more control because you can actually choose a price to sell for. Unless that stock can meet or exceed the price you have in mind, it won't be sold. It has limitations to go along with those high standards though (such is life!). Because that price has to be met, sometimes your order isn't fulfilled at all, and sometimes it's only partially filled. You have to be sure you want that price no matter what to use a limit order. A stop order is sort of a combination of the previous 2. With a stop order, you pick a price to wait for, but once that happens the order transforms into a market order. That could be really helpful for you if you want to limit the impact a stock has if it starts moving a lot in price. It also is more likely to go through fully when compared to a limit order. The right type of order for you to use to sell your stocks just depends on your goals and preferences!

I know this video is quite old for youtube standards, but is there a way to sell specific shares of a stock I have so I can take a short-term gain rather than a long-term? Let's say I have a ST loss of $1k and I have shares in a company from each month for the past 13 months. I'd have a LTCG for the first month of shares, but I want to get a ST gain to offset the ST loss and save the LT gain for next tax year. I hope that's not too convoluted.

Couple of things. First, I love this video because these trade types are not super intuitive, but they're also not unique to Webull. Most other investment tools will have the same three options for trading. The other thing to remember is that when you trade, it's a two-party transaction, so if you're trading some obscure stock, there may not be enough people willing to buy at the limit you set, especially if the market price of the stock is declining. So, no, you probably won't be able to sell your Tortilla🌮 stock (MEX:LN) for 200 a Cher🎤 because it hasn't come close to that price in over a year.

Hey man I have a question. So I sold my handful of different shares as a market order, but after 2 days I never received any unsettled or settlendnfunds. So after I sold, I ended up making 0 dollars, I don’t know what happened I’m confused, any help?
