Many Thanks again Brendan - I'm making progress. Any chance you could list the notes for the right hand riff in C - just put a bracket around them when played together. Cheers, David Jardine ~ East Sussex

I hate to possibly be the first to tell you. Dr. John has passed away today. -A Fan from New Orleans

Your transcription of Pinetop's Boogie has this exact riff throughout. Was Pinetop Smith not the originator of it, long before Dr. John?

Brendan Kavanagh Brendan, Don't know if you'll read this, but thanks so much for making my 'buggy day" I don't have much time to practice and the rest of the tutorials online shall we say....suck. The way you break it down into meaningful little nougats is a perfect way to build up a musical lexicon. Also, the fact that you can "really" play, unlike most of the other buggy boogie instructors online, helps set a standard to reach for. (with Albert Ammons & Pete Johnson being the ultimate standard) Thanks again. Suggestion....you should put a module on your emails that allows people to donate what they can for all the great instruction you so generously give away. Even if it's only $10, it adds up.
