Brenden Rice, former USC wide receiver and son of Jerry Rice, joins Keyshawn Johnson on the All Facts No Brakes podcast ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft where he reveals his thoughts on playing for the San Francisco 49ers. Rice said: “It’d be cool, but my dad already built a legacy there.” Rice goes onto share some advice he received from his Hall of Fame father and Keyshawn shares some game as well.

I feel real old remember watching jerry rice first game as a 49ers his first game damm and now I'm about to watch his son play on sundays in the NFL Thank you God for ur blessing im alive today

"Over five seasons, that group of quarterbacks included Elvis Grbac (9 games), Jeff Kemp (6), Steve Bono (6), Mike Moroski (2), and Matt Cavanugh (1). Over 24 games, Rice caught 134 passes for 2,177 yards and 23 TDs. That creates an average season of 89 catches, 1451 receiving yards, and 16 touchdowns"

Such a trip to see Jerry Rice’s son about to enter the NFL. What made Jerry great was you couldn’t get that hospital shot in him. In the 80’s it was a game of I’m trying to decapitate you, no joke. But Jerry seemed to evade devastating hits and would run away so easily.

Sort of a shame he doesnt really like the idea of playing in SF because i think it'd be dope if they drafted him. He'd be a good fit for Miami, but he'd be the 3rd WR while Tyreek and Waddle are there

Either he isnt media trained or he dont listen to no one but himself. Either way major red flags, wont be surprised if his draft stock takes a hit. Many Niner fans love this kid because of his dad and would be more patient with him in his development. He basically spit on the niners and said i rather play on a losing team for myself then be apart of a winning culture. This kid needs to do his homework on kyle and his ability to highlight players skills. Disappointing interview from the goat's son who sounds like he could be a problem in the locker room.

What on earth are you talking about? This young man did not put anyone down, aside from the joke he said. He's got confidence in himself to know he's a day 1 starter with WR1. That's it! He wouldn't be mad about playing in San Fran or anywhere else. He was asked specific questions, and he gave specific answers. There is nothing wrong with a young man wanting to build his own legacy with a different team than his father. Why would anyone want to be in the shadow of amther person, forever? If you were meant to shine, GO FUGGIN SHINE! You need to open your mind up to what he is actually saying.

This is just makes him sound like an entitled kid who is expecting things instead of respecting. Hes not even a top 10 prospect so what would give him the idea hes just going to go somewhere and be the 1? He is going to need to lean on the vets in order to develop into a 1 instead of being a cancer in the locker room. We seen how this works with many wrs with this type of mind fram, after his rookie deal will be making all these demands price himself out because of his "confidence" and boom wasted 4th-5th round pick.

Trade Deebo.. he’s an awesome player but injury prone. He gets hurt and the offense cracks up bc there’s no other star than Aiyuk & Kittle but the Defense puts extra pressure on these two guys when Deebo is out.
