Embroidery is a beast. I have been doing it since November as so much of it is knowing your machine and testing things out. It will only get better!

My heart went out to you when the machine stopped. I’m so glad you guys at least got it operational. I know how it feels when on a time crunch and the machines don’t cooperate.

If the machine wasn't set up properly you will have so many problems that is what happened to my industrial sewing machine, turned out the timing was out and I needed a technician to fix the problem.

Half way through the vid here , the base model Ricoma I’ve heard is no good, please invest in a brother or baby lock model, ppl can fix those locally & easy to work with , trust me , I have a brother 6 needle & haven’t even changed the needles on it yet & I’ve had it for a whole year !! Every error from it was human error so far !!! So sorry you had to go through that
