Die automatische Tabletten-Inspektion ist weltweit von besonderer Wichtigkeit für die Tablettenherstellung und somit auch für die Brennstab- und Brennelementfertigung. Bereits seit 2007 ist die APIS-Technologie bei ANF im täglichen Einsatz. Die Anlage ersetzt die visuelle Kontrolle durch Mitarbeiter und verbessert so Qualität, Leistung und Sicherheit bei der Tablettenherstellung.

Development and sale of an APIS plant (APIS: Automatic Pellet Inspection System) by the Lingen fuel manufacturing site of Advanced Nuclear Fuels (ANF) GmbH in Germany follow the motto "technology from the user for the user". Automatic tablet inspection is of particular importance for pellet production and thus also for fuel rod and fuel assembly fabrication worldwide. The APIS technology has been in daily operation at ANF since 2007. The system replaces visual inspection by employees, and therefore improves quality, performance and safety of the pellet production.
