One thing I’d like to mention is that you don’t want to be using metal utensils inside the nonstick rice cooker bowl. It’ll chip and scratch the coating and overtime ruin the nonstick properties(and potentially be a health hazard, can’t imagine that stuff is good to leach into food). I’d only use the plastic spoon it came with.

Nice the small Jackery worked like a 🏆 Champ. Cleaning it: get a MINI SPRAY BOTTLE from Dollar General or Dollar Tree, and while you're there buy a small bottle of WHITE VINEGAR. Fill the bottle with 1/2 Cup water and 2 table spoons of White Vinegar. Spray inside the cooking bowl (not the inside heating element). Repeat on the outside. Done! Doing this saves your Baby Wipes for "other uses". And White Vinegar is a non-toxic natural Cleaner that you can use on most surfaces. Do shake your Spray Bottle each time BEFORE using it. No rinsing necessary. You'll love that little Rice Cooker... so many options... meatloaf, chicken, bacon, omelets, etc. Online is loaded with recipes 😋 👌 😄.

I like that little rice cooker. I use a 6 cup rice cooker in my car and it's HUGE! Lol. I HATE cooking though so I make enough for leftovers. I use paper towels and a spray bottle with water and vinegar to clean my dishes. I didn't want to injest the chemical residue left from the baby wipes on my dishes. Then again, I'm leery about eating the chemicals in processed food that is meant for consumption so my level of trust in man-made chemicals was low to begin with. Anyway, great video.

Omg! It's adorable 🥰. I have the aroma brand that is 6 cup. I found it at Walmart for $18. It uses 300 Watts. I love that I can put 2 chicken leg quarters in it. I'd love to have that one as well. I love the color too😊

You can clean the rice cooker bowl and lid with baking soda. Really, anything that won't absorb food. Wipe off most of the food residue with a paper towel (or part of a paper towel). Sprinkle a couple of tablespoons of baking soda in the bottom of the bowl. Scrub around using a damp paper towel. When you've removed all of the food, discard the baking soda. Finish up with another damp paper towel piece, which can now be used on the lid. This uses just a couple of ounces of water.

Fantastic longer form video!! Love the longer ones, Bren. Very cool my bro. Hilarious leaving the cardboard in.. we have all been there haha. Now you got me checking out low voltage rice cookers for the times when I don't want to get out of the car if it's raining or whatever to be able to cook without a flame. The rice cooker option seems like a super viable cooking option!! I love how it only used about 20% charge of your Jackery, that it doesn't make any annoying loud noises, extreme heat or heaps of steam. Very viable option. I'll have to show you what I do for ventilation in my subie for when you want some extra airflow especially around the warmer months and it becomes stuffy inside the car when you're sleeping or chilling out. Stay safe and keep up with the content. I really enjoyed this one! Nick

I am really enjoying watching your journey. It is refreshing to watch someone who has gained sobriety. I applaud you! I notice that you are very neat and tidy. Bravo to this too, but I am admittedly curious why you don’t have a sheet or mattress pad to cover your mattress? I recognize you have a sleeping bag! So this is just an inquiry here!I am currently watching you cook in the “red light lounge” (love that name) and holding my breath in case of a spill!!!💁♀️

Well so far so good Andrea, I suppose I could use a sheet over my mattress but I sleep in a sleeping bag so I just need it for padding really. I vacuum periodically and I have a lint roller in the car to keep things neat, and my tray is pretty sufficient in keeping it clean. All of these are good tips though

you know they make 12v slow cookers, and frying pans, soup pans, etc... you could cook while dashing with the slow cooker. i dont know if you have a 12v mini compressor fridge, but if you do, buy like a roast and some mini potatoes and baby carrots, cut up the roast into smaller chunks, (i think quartering it might work for the 12v slow cooker size, and then throw it in the slow cooker with a bit of water and some seasoning packets, like a pot roast packet and/or hidden valley ranch dry mix packet (again, you likely wont need the whole packet at once). you could dice up one quarter for a nice beef stew, again, with a stew packet (probably not the whole packet at once)... and cook while you drive... you have a great meal in a few hours. anything you can make with a slow cooker, you can make with the 12v one.

Such a big fan of you Bren, I was being totally sarcastic with you in the livestream. I hope we’re still cool. You’re legitimately one of my favorite creators by a mile. I feel like sometimes we watch people on KZfaq and we feel like we’re getting comfortable with them although we aren’t actually interacting. And so then I went to a place comedically that we haven’t actually reached together although the sensation of watching vlog style videos provides that false sense of closeness. Love you and your journey and goals and I just hope I can make it up to you.
