From Georgia, now in Colorado and I'm kinda of surprised this song doesn't have my SSN in it.

This is a masterpiece. I’m a writer in Nashville and this big crowded city along with the way the music industry is here, is making me so homesick for my Carolina home I could explode. Thank you for this Brent. Love ya man

Brent Cobb, Ian Noe, Colter Wall, and Benjamin Tod from lost dog street band have got to be the top 4 songwriters of this generation. Everything those men do is pure gold.

Seattle WA 2017 we took the kids to see him and Margo price and Jamey Johnson. After he played a great show he stopped to say hi to the kids so genuinely kind and great energy. Love the music. Keep it up.

Funny story. I was debating what to listent to on my way home, and I almost decided to put on Keep It Like A Secret by Built to Spill. But instead I browsed Spotify and put this album on because I really liked the cover art. Turns out I’m really enjoying the music, and I’m not even a big country fan. Funny part is, this song sounds super similar to Carry the Zero from that Built to Spill album! Same chord progression and everything, and almost the same key. Anyway, glad I stumbled upon this.

Best concert I've seen so far in 2019 was Brent in Atlanta back in late Winter. Made me imagine what seeing Skynard might have been like in their early days. Crowd was into it man.

Love the new album, Brent. Had this song in my head most of the day. It really resonates. The melody, the lyrics. It's beautiful all around. Keep it going. We need more heartfelt, honest musicians, like yourself. Much love from Ann Arbor, and please book a show somewhere close. My car is not cooperative lately.

Never thought I'd be so far from Georgia Georgia's where I knew I'd always live and die Now here I am travelin' through Colorado Livin' on the road, just tryin' to survive And its been so long since I've felt at home I've forgotten what it feels like to be alone Anywhere My woman's scared I might forget who I am too If I don't come home soon Last night I drank until I passed out In the middle of a crowd of folks I didn't know I heard 'em laughin' at me lyin' there Face-down in the dirt, huggin' a telephone pole Now it's a shame to be Self-proclaimed free While trapped by the blindin' symptoms of addiction At twenty nine I'm I alive If I am, I am just barely holdin' on to life Music used to be my way to escape Good to bad and everything between Now it's become what defines my name Oh I wonder who it was I used to be And if I still Have the will To finish what I started, right or wrong God, it's been so long since I've felt at home I've forgotten what it feels like to belong Anywhere And I'm scared I might forget who I am too If I don't come home soon
