The HC of every program has to have someone they can delegate to. There’s SO many moving parts, it takes a winning team off the field as well as on. OU is very fortunate to have AD Castiglione!!!

As an avid chess player, the chess/checker analogy is getting old. However, OU does seem to be innovating and making moves to attract and keep prospective players and coaches while also shoring up a defense that’s been neglected for years. Thanks… Boomer!

They need to make these players sign a contract saying that they can't enter the transfer portal after they take nil money because these players have way too much freedom these days they can take one school's money and jump to another one and do the same thing if they're going to give the players that much freedom maybe they should give the schools the freedom to trade players

IMO Revenue sharing is the only model in which the NCAA can actually recapture some control. I know it sounds odd, but in that model they can become acceptable in the courts eyes on the anti-trust front.

Other universities better follow suit. Because we are dealing with an NFLesque future in college football. Its a business now more than ever, and that will only continue to develop into the future. Its not just a game anymore, its a business as well.

This is Why Texas brought in Lucy Guo she is very business minded and I like the move for OU I don’t see what it matters if he was in the NFL what you need is someone business minded and able to be able to divy up monies to ensure not putting all your money into to few people and being able to invest in more I think other universities better follow but yes he is from the NFL that doesn’t give him any edge over business investing minded individuals

Y - But the more that college football tries to imitate the NFL, the less I care for it. I expect apathy will set in at some point, and I'll stop watching for good. Just like I did with other forms of entertainment that I used to watch for years. College football has been the last thing I've been hanging onto.

It depends on where you located at! Yes, Oregon has Nike backing it and Arkansas has Walmart and Tyson Chick backing it. However, every kid is going to want to live there in Eugene, despite the money! I'm a Miami fan! Miami is the highest paid NIL nor at the bottom. It some where right below the highest payers. Its doesn't suck to live in Coral Gables to be a student athlete at the University of Miami. This can apply to USC as well. Look at their alums and boosters. They just don't have millionaire and billionaire alums and booster. They have alums in Hollywood were actors, directors, producers and etc. Their NIL can be appealing as anybody in the nation and your living in Southern Cal!
