I’m not even into fancy coffee much less espresso, nor watches that look remotely like this. Not usually, but I love this watch for some weird reason I cannot explain.

Nice looking watch. As you suggested, Rob, these are great for someone getting serious about the espresso hobby, where folks like to get everything dialed in as precisely as possible. Still,the truth is that, like all complex skills, espresso making eventually will transcend such quantifiable and measurable rules as timing, weight, etc., and becomes more of an art. But that takes years and, even when you no longer need it to time your espresso shots, you will still have a cool stopwatch on your arm!

Blooming takes 30-45 seconds. Perfect for my pour over coffee. Been from espresso to pour over. To each his own but pour over is way way way more better. Espresso comes next btw.

the dial in some videos has looked a little grey is that how it appears or is it definitely black?
