It's time to appreciate just how good Cristopher Sanchez has been so far this season. What he is doing as the number 4 in the rotation is nothing short of amazing

@@fredcasdensworld Sanchez' previous results was one of the reasons why the Phillies grabbed Spencer Turnbull, as Sanchez was never consistent as a starter (had great stuff, but more often than not had control issues) and had a number of short starts on the mound. But Sanchez this year has pitched almost lights out and has relegated Turnbull to late innings work in low leverage situations.

Okay...gotta be fair. I am a frequent critic of Castellanos. However, he has been having better at bats. Not whiffing on those low/outside pitches as frequently and making contact. Good job Nick. Keep it up! And of course: JT is a machine. If I was gonna start a baseball team, the first player I would pick not Harper, it is JT Realmuto. What a role model!

He has to begin to realize that when he’s not reaching to try to hit those pitches well outside the strike zone, then the pitchers will have to throw in or closer to the strike zone; once the pitchers are doing that, he’ll see pitches that are better for hitting.

@@stevebabiak6997 Agreed! He used to be a good hitter. Then his strike zone when to crap and he would only get a hit when the pitcher made a mistake and threw him a strike. Because who is gonna throw him a strike if he is gonna consistently whiff at low/outside pitches? If he regains his strike zone discipline, look out, the Phils are gonna really look awesome!

@@jasonramirez1064 If Harper stays in the outfield, we still have Rhys (who has been killing it this year) and now you got a complete 1B and outfield (Marsh, Rojas, Harper). Your outfield is improved, your infield is improved and also you added a hot bat the Phillies have needed to keep the linup consistent (You've now just replaced Castellanos with Hoskins in the linup). Sorry for the lengthy answer, but yeah, none of that happens because Bryce wanted to be 1B instead.. This city LOVED Hoskins, that blood is on Harper's hands.. *Post edit: Topper was asked if the scenario I just mentioned would be a better scenario with the team than what they are in now and his reply was a quick "Yes."*

I like how the brewers announcer called bohm “not the most confident 3rd basemen in the league , because of his 9 errors” obviously you haven’t been watching bohm field all year clown , yes errors are unfortunate but I wouldn’t say bohm isn’t confident , I’ve seen him make some fantastic plays this year

Two Key Takeaways: 1. Sanchez deserves his flowers...he's been incredible this season. 2. JT is the BCIB. He alone saved possibly 4 runs these past two games. These highlights didn't show the direct shot to the groin that he took earlier in the game. He is Philly personified.

Castellanos with the GW hit, and JT with a great tag at HP, but I would still say the MVP of the game was Bohm. Don't know what the Milwaukee announcer was thinking when he brought up Bohm's errors after the play on which the Brewers' run scored... runner going on contact, high-chop grounder meant no chance to get the guy out at the plate - Bohm made the right play getting the out at 1B.

Nick hits better when he isn't trying to pull everything. Sanchez pitched another gem. JT is a rock behind the plate but not such a great 2nd hitter, looks like his foot isn't getting down in time as he is kicking pretty high. Stott is popping out an awful lot lately. Offense was dormant. Bullpen overall is still holding the line.

Bro as a Phillies fan I hate the fact that we struggle to hit the ball against a pitcher who had to pitch back to back nights with no rest and a struggling brewers bullpen we’ve should’ve blown this team out a 2-1 victory is sad as hell imagine what the brewers would’ve done to us had they had a healthy lineup.

Koenig (König) is German for "king". It's pronounced more like "Kernig" than "Kaynig". He did an admirable job, as did Sanchez. It's a shame that Sanchez didn't the W, but the Phils did!
