No, they ferment in the same vessel.

Hi there. Does this brewery use a forklift in lieu of a gantry/hoist to lift the colander out? I didn't hear him mention a gantry, and wasn't sure what the forklift was being used for

Hi Colin -- Axe and Arrow uses a gantry and one of our hoists. A few customers are using a forklift though.

Spruce tips, spices, roots, but beer wouldn't taste like beer without hops. You can try using minimal hops for bittering and using other ingredients for flavor and aroma. Cheers.
