So glad Brewfather added the 120 to their system. I have the 240 10 gal and have found it does quite well. Usually double grind my grains for better efficiency. Rewatching these 2 videos as I will be brewing this very recipe next week or so ... finally! Woot! Cheers!

This is great!! I’m about to brew my first amber. I like the simplicity of it, using all American ingredients (it’s for my final assignment for my college course!). I was talking to the guy at our local home brew shop and he was nostalgic for amber ales when they first came around. This is super awesome btw! Learning a ton from these as an aspiring brewer!

I 100% agree! Especially here in San Diego. Almost no breweries make a red, amber or brown ale anymore. Those used to be popular like 6-9 years ago.

Great to see this recipe, tasty ambers and browns are hard to come by down my way…would dig to see your take on a simple brown.

I make so many Amber Ales... I love them. Make a lot of them since as you said, it's hard to find them from breweries.

I split batches my last amber and hence tried wyeast 1272 American ale II. It’s great as it leaves some sweetness attenuating a bit lower. I’d use it again over 05 - and I hate liquid yeast lol

I am late to the party but I am loving the videos. Keep up the great work. Can you comment on the brewing location at all? I am looking to bring my clawhammer supply system indoors from the garage... but worried about the moisture.

(Posting a few seconds in). I agree, Ambers should be more populare. I know that IPAs are big. But i think people need to give ambers a bigger chance. Also, what is the IBU? I have been wanting an Amber so bad.

If you add water, why not sparege your grain and extract few extra points or a bit more of volume?

I love watching beer vids and noticed that basically, they are all dudes mostly with beards. There isn't anything wrong with that, but it is a welcome change to see a woman brewing, wish more got into it. Maybe bearded dudes have way more free time on their hands.... Keep up the great work!
