Yes. We do live inside of a black hole.

Regarding galaxies older than our universe, maybe our understanding of how galaxies form, especially the early ones is just wrong or incomplete, I believe our universe formed inside another universe, along with many, many others, the result of White holes, maybe, also given enough time our own universe may produce its own universes and so on, but that still doesn't answer how did the first universe come into being or has it always existed, I don't think we'll ever know for sure.

One day in the future we will understand how the universe came about but for now we just don't know enough and won't know until we can get out there and explore

I have still so many questions but finding the answers is no fun as once this great thing is answered, will the questions taper off to nothing ? To only start again.

That was obvious if it grew from a singularity. Ours is just another space time construct bubble created by a massive black hole in another space-time construct. And that explains the logic behind the multiverses theory. Simple no?
