I have seen these guys play live rocking hard in 1998. Back then Brian looked so dead and numbed out. The transformation of Brian Welch is something only God could have done. Hallelujah.

KoRn was my favorite group growing up in High School and University. Next was like 3 six Mafia. I came to Jesus after Brian's 7 year sabbatical and starting Love and Death. In fact, I started listening to Love and Death as I was getting born again and since then. But it helped bring me to Jesus!

Hes the reason I got closer to God. I didnt do drugs or anything but I went away from the church but then I read some of Brian's book and it helped. But I'm also like him where it's not so much the religion but my spiritual connection with Jesus and God

I've gone from 29 years of Norse blackmetal fandom, laughing at korn fans, laughing at Christianity, to complete abstaining from nearly all metal, funding, loving and welcoming Jesus into my heart and life as my saviour, my turnaround,to subscribing this man's channel. His light has opened my eyes and removed the blinkers. Thanks Mr Welch,I share your pov on this one and look forward to checking the rest out. Peace out brother in Christ.

@aethrya your never to far gone All you have to do is find you a spot you feel comfortable and if that is around your addictions then even there will work and pray this.. I receive your forgiveness and ask you to take your rightful place in my life as my Savior and Lord. Come reign in my heart, fill me with your love and your life, and help me to become a person who is truly loving-a person like you. Restore me, Jesus. Live in me.

This was great. Currently struggling with alcoholism again after months of sobriety. I gave up all other drugs years ago but booze has been the hardest because it's everywhere. I'm agnostic, tbh, but I occasionally attend AA and I would like to have faith in a higher power.

I stopped drinking when I turned to God. Although I wasn't exactly an alcoholic. But reading the Bible and learning about Jesus changed my life for the better. "For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son, so that whoever believes in him does not perish but have eternal life."

Trust and truly believe in Jesus and ask for His help. He will be there for you. But you must truly believe in Him. He is waiting for you. All you have to do is ask for His help. Matthew 7:7. He will make things happen in your life that you will know only God could make happen. He is that tiny light in a sea of darkness that helps to guide the way back home, and with Him you will never be lost again. He will pick you up out of that hole, and He will make you whole. Proof of God and Satan’s existence has always been right in front of us. Unfortunately so many do not see what is obvious to me. Everything in life with significance has two sides similar to the duality of God and Satan. Positivity and negativity, light and darkness, life and death, night and day, the sun and the moon, up and down, left and right, north and south, east and west. Think of mathematics, addition and subtraction, one gives and the other takes away. Multiplication and division, one multiples and the other divide’s. Even our language. Asleep and awake, on and off, truth and lies, right and wrong. Trust me I could keep giving examples but I’d be here all day. I truly believe everything is like this in life because God and Satan are the forces behind them. It’s truly amazing to see all these things that we know to be true in life resemble God and Satan so much. I hope you get these words and I truly hope they help you find faith in our savior Jesus Christ. Matthew chapter 5 verse 44 is what the world needs to do. Right now more than ever. This is one of my favorite verses that Jesus taught. This verse alone is all the proof I need to know that He truly is God and our savior. I’ll be keeping you in my prayers. God bless

Hi. 😃 I agree. Pretty cool what Brian shared! I am praying for you tonight. That you and God will meet up. He is right there and I pray that when the Spirit of God is near you, you will feel it. And that the love will be wow. He really does love you. How do I know that? Because He loves me and He doesn't play favorites. You are made in His image. There is a song called Reckless Love by Cory Asbury. It just came to mind. I hope you check it out. God, thank You for loving this dear person. Thank You that You hear them. Thank You that their questions don't anger You. You are patient and full of love. I pray for a time when they will feel You in a powerful way. I pray for people who love You to cross their path and show Your compassion and love. I pray they will know how much they mean to You. Thank you for being the kind of God that comes after us...Going way past the extra mile. Real love. Amen

You were on a Christian channel and I was high one night watching TV at 3am and I flipped across your testimony and here I am 6 years later finding your guidance again on KZfaq . Thanks for being there for me dude. You’re awesome, God has used you to reach me multiple times and It’s working!! I have over a month sober now. I was baptized June 5th . Thanks for your help :)

God is good man, He loves us soo much and isn't an angry God just sitting on the throne waiting and wanting the day to judge us. In fact, He is sorrowful about the judgment day because He has to let people who have made their choice to separate from Him be away from Him for eternity. Hell is real, I have had real dreams and visions of it, feeling some of the pain and torture from being strangled by demons as well. I have even actually seen and audibly heard demons as well.

Thank you for cheering Brian ♥️ I'm going to show this to a friend of mine who struggle with her life and alcohol problems. She has started with the idea to draw to Jesus but she is a cleaver fox and have asked me question versus another christian. So I think your testimony will help her a lot about it. Because I think she have hard time to accept because she is scared, like many other Christian that she will not be good enough. I think this will help her a lot, by to see what you have gone through and how by Jesus you looke so more happy. More lighter, more hopeful. And for me I just love it. I just love to see how much faith do to us. And yeah, I really hope my friend will come to faith for her sake. Because I also have experience by depression that faith helped me. It's woaw, and woaw to you♥️ Woaw for everyone. Thanks 🙏♥️♥️♥️

As bad as drugs are. Being a recovering addict myself I felt when being on drugs I made some of the best music of my career and it took a long time for me to find that love again. Being 10 years sober I've seen so many loved ones gone amazing talented people get sober and lose their love for music. I'm an athiest and even though I don't believe that doesn't mean I don't have faith in myself and the people I love. My wife is Christian and she doesn't push her beliefs onto me our children which is a huge plus. We all choose our own paths some look to God for help and healing, I look up to love and music. Some of the best people I know believe in some higher power and some are monsters and vice versa. All I know is what works for me and that's getting behind my drum kit or guitar, Vocals, bass, keys, producing, recording staying far away from people with bad habits and loving and providing for everyone I love. You don't need religion to recover, I'm living proof of that. It was love that made me 10 years sober and the support of everyone who gives a shit about me and never gave up on me when I was at my lowest. Unfortunately I lost my brother 5 years ago to this disease and it took a lot to not pick up that needle but I knew if I did my kids would have no father, my neices and nephews wouldn't have their uncle E and my friends would have probably relapsed as well bc I'm the one who got them help and made a pact to stay sober. Im that guy who puts others before myself. My wife wanted to get baptized again and really wanted me to be there even knowing that I'm not into that stuff but I went to support her bc she's the one who saved me. I've read the Bible, the Satanic Bible, and read up on a bunch of other religions and belief systems and none of them felt like they were anything but stories. But when I found love and had my son and learned how to love myself that's when everything came full circle. I hate it when people try to say that God and or Jesus did that for me bc that could be far from the truth. It was me who put in all that hard work and dedication. So when I hear people talk about religion and how their God works and is the reason for everything, I just keep to myself and let them believe in what ever makes them feel comfortable. But I get judged for believing in nothing. Which is far from the truth I believe in what I can see and feel. Which is love and music. Korn self titled was the first time I found out what baritone guitars were about and saved up my money for a whole summer and bought Heads signature 7 string and still have it till this day! I self taught myself how to play 8 instruments that was my outlet for the longest time. Up until I got into an accident and got addicted to pain meds then for 10 years I was a functional drug addict. I'm 35 now. From 9-25 I was doing drugs. I was a huge pot head for years until I started touring with my Band (which my band mates were in their 20s) I was very mature for my age I looked like I was 18 and played drums like a mofo (still do lol) but it was part of the rock star lifestyle. I never got hooked on anything until I broke my back. I was given so many pills I couldn't even take them all! But as my body got use to them I needed more and more until they weren't working Anymore. For 1 year I started doing Heroin. I never overdosed, nodded out got sick (this was right before they started lacing everything with Fentanyl) and the last 3 months bofore getting sober I started shooting it. That's when my now wife came into the picture. She knew I was on pain meds but had no clue about the dope habit. The day before I went to rehab she wanted to make things official and I didn't want her to carry that burden. So I told her everything that was the first time I cried to anyone about anything! I was always the one people came to for help or a shoulder to cry on. So I packed my stuff which was a suitcase and my guitar and went to rehab for 90 days. I've been sober ever since! We left NY and came to FL to start fresh and it's been nothing but positivity. They say it usually takes people around 4-6 times in rehab to finally get clean but I think it's based on who you surround yourself with and how bad you want it. Religion helps if you believe and sometimes even that fails people. Honestly I think it's on you and how bad you want it. In the end all you have is yourself. Religion or not. You have to learn to love yourself before you can love anyone else including any God. But that's my experience and everyone has their own story. One thing I'm sure of is YOU CAN RECOVER! AND LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL YOU JUST HAVE TO LOVE YOURSELF AND LET LOVE IN AND GIVE LOVE! FOLLOW YOUR PASSION AND NEVER GIVE UP! MUCH LOVE - E

Wow!1 I’m 43 days in recovery from substance abuse (drugs/alcohol) after having relapsed from 6 years of being just sober and not in recovery. I needed that relapse to teach me now what I was too proud to realize then; I cannot save myself. I needed that lesson of relapse as much as I need people like Brian and the many just like him. I need the Spirit of God, the Christ-consciousness, and my willingness to surrender to God’s good and perfect will for my life, not as I chose/choose it, but as only God knows it. It starts with my full acceptance of where and how I am now, and continues with my faith and, trust, commitment, adherence, passion and full surrender towards this new substance of God’s Devine love. All I have to do is be still and know God is God, and continue to allow God to be God in my life, letting God’s truth of promise happen without any of my intervention or thinking that I can ever save myself or replace Christ in my life. Thanks, and God bless all whomever need read this ;)

I am a huge Korn fan and also in recovery I saw you guys sober, in west palm beach 2021, I’ve been sober for 2 years, I seen a lot of people replace AA or NA with church and relapse… I believe that if you are alcoholic or drug addicted, Faith without works is dead, we cannot just go to church and have a spiritual experience and remain sober… in AA we humbly help newcomers, commit to our services in AA we have to walk it out, not just give God our words and go about our day, it Must be accompanied by Lots and Lots of Actions…. Just my opinion and I’ve tried multiple year long church programs that never worked for me… Love you Brian, glad you found what works for you!

Faith is the substance...you helped me to understand and grasp what substance meant in a relatable way. The evidence of things unseen...again how you explained it was so helpful. I struggle every single day with the strength or lack of the fullness of faith in me, always disappointing myself. Opening myself up to me is so hard. Now, for me it's not substance abuse in the for numbing the mind. My mind tells me many messages. I was asked to be kind to me by doing stuff I love - like music - to create a happier mood. I could think of nothing - not even music - a once passion of my life! I can't believe I couldn't even think of that! I have been so numbed into believing I wasn't worthy of that of all things. I have so much more work to do.

I took my co worker to the Ridgefield Korn & Evanescence concert. He has been struggling with Alcohol addiction. I sent him this video. Thank you Brian. Jesus actually came to me. I have a tattoo on my hand from the experience. I hope I can talk to you in person via video chat about it. God's real! Jesus does visit in the Moment of the addiction. Recovery is possible. Jesus has blessed me so much.

Thanks I needed that. I'm tired of negative spiritual wickedness in high places around me. I'm on the narrow path. Still struggling, but I have faith in Jesus. And that's what's keeping me moving forward and not looking to the world. We are in the body of Christ. Love you all

I used to rock out to Korn a lot when I was intoxicated and messed up . Now, I get totally wasted on the new wine. And the side effects of it are life-changing. Jesus freely pours the best drinks anyone could ever have. Taste and see :) I'd love Brian to come to our home church one night and have a few drinks with us. Tampa

I was already a fan of you and Korn, but I have become even more of a big fan because it surprises me a lot the way you explain about faith and God, it helps me to get even closer and fill myself with the love of God, thank you for that. It's comforting to see how God has transformed you over the years and also because I have sought to have more faith in recent years, I identify with you and started to follow you here and watch your videos; also because you explain God and faith in a way that is not boring

I'm not a Korn fan as such but I appreciate Brian's honesty here. Keep on keeping on the path to eternal life that Jesus has already walked before us, mate. The idea of faith being a sort of divine "inner substance" that "satisfies" was a very clever way of putting it.

Amen Brian 💜 - grateful to have met you back in the day through Vinnie Paul Abbott in TeXas - you & I were both very sober and we talked about Christ - was amazing - === ((alcohol use to be called "spirits" (related to demonic spirits) )) when i got sober july 15 2007 - i looked up every scripture in the holy bible on being sober & why (and scriptures about not being sober -the consequences) Reading Proverbs & Psalms are great scriptures to read everyday ... "be ye of sober mind" "the evidence of things unseen" The Holy Spirit fills all the sadness & confusion in our heart grateful Christ saved my dark lost sad soul in Tampa Florida on January 23 1983

I appreciate your words, your scripture references. I have to be honest, I'm drunk right now. I'm a believer. I am a truth seeker. I am on the defense, but I admit I am flawed. I looked you up tonight, for inspiration. It's been quite some time since I've heard you speak on the subject and Jesus' love, our salvation, our gifts stored in heaven. I have to say, your tonality...the tenacity of spirit, does not seem to be present in your voice like once was. I pray you are well. I pray you have not succumb to substance abuse. I pray you are surrounded with people that keep your light burning. I pray these same things for myself. I am not a fan of the type of music Slip Knot puts out, or the genre in general. Sometimes, I "research", as a means to look into a world unknown to me. I have done that tonight, prior to seeing your recent videos. Afterwards, going outside for a smoke, I hear a flute playing in the distant radiating through the woods. I shit you not! I totally believe that in humoring the devil in his tricks, he attempted to lure me in for a one on one. So, be well my brother in Christ. Know thine enemy, as I believe we should seek him out. Not to revel in his games, but know how to skirt them. Pray for me as I will pray for you!
