Esta aria es de la ópera la Gioconda y el primer en tenor en cantarla fue Gayarre del cual se dice que no existe grabaciones ahora se canta de la parte alta del barco de donde ves el cielo y el mar una aria donde el tenor demuestra su proyección de voz y técnica vocal pero el tenor que veo hace lo contrario y no tiene ese carácter para interpretar esta hermosura de aria

Según la historia, fue el propio Julián Gayarre, quién le solicitó al autor de ésta bonita obra maestra, él incluirá un aria para tenor y, no fue hasta el mismo ensayo qué el tenor por tenaz, qué se plantó en la misma proa del barco para interpretar "Cielo è mar". Por cierto, este tenorva sobrado con su poderosa voz...💚🦅💚

Bueno yo hace muchos años estuve buscando algunos datos sobre grabaciones del gran Julián Gayarre ahí me enteré de algunos detalles Gayarre era amigo de Poncchieli y al revisar la ópera se encontró que no había aria para el tenor y le hace saber al compositor y se corrige este error y la escribió en tres días y.ahi surge el problema de donde cantarla hay una anécdota muy interesante

It’s a love song! You sing with feeling for Laura. I don’t hear it. It is a healthy sound, I’ll grant him that, but where’s the color? Corelli, Bergonzi, Tucker. I heard them all in this role. They knew it was a love song to Laura. They conveyed tenderness, while sang full out, like the Italian tenors they were. Tucker wasn’t Italian, but they called him the “American Caruso,” when he made his Scala debut. Check out Caruso in that aria. He makes your heart melt.

Not true, he even makes decrescendos! Great sound production in a very difficult aria. Its a open healthy voice like in old times. Today we have all this "musical" singers producing a lot of warm air but not one sound worth listening.

@@vitabella6481The voice is impressive but not "healthy" the wobble is too big for his age! Still impressive! And listen to some musical theatre singers! They would beat the ass of some modern opera singers 😅

@@lostboy2381I hear a vibrato not a wobble but I can be mistaken. With musical singer I do not talk of singers who sing in musicals like cats and so on. But I meant singers who sing very musically, with a lot of fake pianos, whispering and such things.
