Brian's parts only from MTV's program Brian May: Queen and Beyond. Lots of notes below...
I haven't seen this one around, I found some download links but they were all zipped, in parts, and sketchy overall. Luckily this aired on MTV on a local TV provider so I went and captured that from their on-demand on web.
Having said that, this saved program is glitchy on specific bits which forced me to switch devices several times, capture everything in chunks, and put them together myself which was so much pain lol. I also suspect there are more bits that were cut. So look out for these:
- Low quality and inconsistent screen size.
- There may have been a cut segment for We Are The Champions, there were two seconds of the music video after Tie Your Mother Down but I can't know for sure if Brian talked about it and if it was cut.
- Glitchy few seconds around Las Palabras De Amor.
- There was No One But You music video (I included the opening and closing shot, that champagne glass) but no segment of Brian talking about it (which was inconsistent because he talked about every other video) so I suspect that was cut. (EDIT: apparently no, Brian just didn't comment in that video.)
Still hoping to get a direct rip sometime but in the meantime hope you enjoy!
Don't repost without credits, be it a KZfaq reupload or gif-making for Tumblr, y'all know who you are 😊

Hi everyone, just wanted to remind you that I have written in the video description that this video is Brian's narrative parts only, so that excludes the actual music videos, to avoid copyright infringement. Thanks! If you would like to share any pictures, audio, video, or other documentation of Queen live, pls email me riaaanna39@gmail.com

Brian is one of the most underrated people out there. Everyone knows him from Queen but he is also a practicing astrophysicist who's worked with NASA, photographer, author, and the guy made the guitar he has been playing all these years from scratch. This man is the Leonardo Da Vinci of our time and that is barely an exaggeration.

@leokimvideo there are other rock stars today who have phds in various areas, and Brian has always said that science and music go together. He is also an animal activist and has his own animal rescue hospital and refuge, he has his own guitar company, he is a book publisher, he is a leader in the stereoscopic world, he has worked with NASA, his 3d pictures were used by NASA to determine the best place for the Osiris-REx spacecraft to land on the Bennu asteroid. I always like listening to Brian and Roger talk about the band and a lot of the things that went on while they were writing songs, touring, and making videos to the songs. I realized early on with Queen songs that there was always a message in them even, when Freddie said he didn't write songs with messages or specific meanings. But there were, and one of those songs helped save me from a very big and bad break down. So in essence, Queen saved my life with their music. ❤️☺️

It's just so relaxing listening to Brian tell the story, at least until he gets to the part about the Hammer (H-Bomb) falling. I don't think any of us growing up in the 60's figured we'd see 70 years old!! They used to have the Nuclear clock. For years it was 3 or 4 minutes before Armageddon. Then for a couple of decades after the cold war was over it actually moved back a few minutes. It's now moved back to 2 minutes before Armageddon with the current state of the world. Bri certainly was a comfort during the pandemic. 😊 Glad he included the Pandemic Champions!

I've been a Queen fan since the early 1970s, Strange feeling now that my son is engaged to the daughter of John Harris, Queens first sound man/roadie from the early day, It's a strange feeling talking to someone who knew Freddie, Brian, Roger and John so well. In fact I believe Brian referred to him as the 5th member of Queen at one point, He is also the only non Queen member to have his picture on the back of the Queen (First) album.

Don't tell Freddie but I like your version of "Too Much Love Will Kill You" cause you are truly singing it from your heart and all the emotions are just flowing through you. It makes me cry and get really chocked up. I miss Freddie dearly but knowing you and Roger are still out there brings me some solace. And I'm feel bad about John. Such a gentle soul. No, he wrote it in the Summer of 1979. This was just as Freddie and American chef, Joe Fanelli were breaking up. Freddie was devastated, Joe was going back home to the U.S. Freddie called David Minns (his first real boyfriend) crying about the breakup. He thought so much of Joe that he continued to pay the requirements for Joe to stay in London when he wanted to come back and work in London restaurants. Their love endured and became a great friendship until the end of Freddie's life.

"Too much AZT will kill you " would be more suitable for Freddie and for many people died during those years. If just Freddie didn't take that poison he could have been still alive & well just like the rest of the Queen. Just look at people such as Earvin "Magic" Johnson wich refused to take it only after one week when he had noticed that he was starting to feel very sick and weak. Obviously IMHO and with all due respect 👌

The way this is cut. Shows just how many fucking ridiculous commercials breaks, when it aired. No wonder people's attention span is so short these days

Please read the pinned comment. The cuts are made since if the full music videos are shown, the uploader would get a copyright strike from KZfaq.

Queen is very, very special band! When you listen Queen, its like different dimension. You are in it. Very unique music! Queen end when Freddie die, for me. Freddie was the heart of Queen!!! I love Brian, Taylor, Deacon, but whithout Freddie, Queen lost everything!

THIS IS SO WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS. Queen is not one man. Queen are Freddie, Roger, John and Brian. Always.
