Ive always liked how he doesn’t do a whole, ex-footballer, jack-the-lad, pub banter, routine. Intelligent, measured, bone dry sense of humour. A great footballer.

I loved Brian as a player, preferred him to Judas any day of the week but I remember seeing him in the City Centre the day after he had scored the only goal against the the Dons in a Cup replay, he just looked right through me and continued on his way. I thought “Ignorant twat” despite that I was pleased to see him have a brilliant career!

Quite enthralled by this video ( just back from shops - no 1901 to see, so.. ) I want to say - NO, advise, of an issue you should all take seriously - not least players that canni get a game these days. I say this often.But please remember - such as this video context, it's not that these are reflections of mere bygone days.But what we are in now, is simply the digital era.This started at time of "Wapping" - and after " "BskyB" - remember? Recall ? Of course, it has developed at a frenetic pace, with the Internet and mobile phones etc.But remember this - whilst this took away days of pie n Bovril n fog n Wintergreen cream, at games ( don't see much of that these days ) do not for 1 second think that "these days" re, are IMMOVEABLE ! Never think memories re, are false nor not real.These were and are, the day of reality.Just a thought to reflect upon.
