Steve Clark tactics were shocking last night for Scotland, yes the players gave it everything, from desire to battling performance, if that's the best Steve Clark can do for Scotland at major tournament then its not good enough, we were totally negative all night against Switzerland and we got a lucky goal, just like the Switzerland did. Steve Clark needs to produce better performances for Scotland and be more positive against teams like Switzerland and he should have went for it last night and put less pressure on Sunday game by trying to win the game. he brings on shankland with 4 mins to go in the game that really sums up Steve Clark negative attitude. Scotland have been an embarrassment in the tournament and we are a laughing stock all around the world, Gary Lineker and his studios guests are enjoying our abysmal displays in the tournament and Hungry showed yesterday just how wrong Steve Clark got his tactics against Germany. in my own opinion Scotland will exit the tournament on Sunday because we wont beat Hungry with those tactics and also we cant score goals because of Steve negative tactics which will come back to haunt him on Sunday, we should have went for it last night, i hope am wrong.

The Germans did pull a number on us. They dropped Kroos deep into their back 3 and then he shelled us with diagonals to their high sitting Wing backs. They esentially by-passed our entire midfield 4 where we are strong and at times it was 6 germans versus our back 3 or narrow back 5. But when Clarke saw that unfold in the first 10 mins he did nothing to change his plan or his shape or tactics. For me Clarke Froze and lost his mind and it was very similar to Lennon in our 10iar season. Clarke was out in the media today blaming the players for the Munich massacre, when for me were nervous from the start becaue Clarke got everything wrong. Tonight is a Referndum on Clarke but for me he cant take that Scotland team any further. Rodgers beware, he needs that support from the board or else we will become the embarassment or this new Champions League.

I look at all the negative stuff from the Sevco press as a clear example of how much they are hurting. They came out with the same garbage about their signings last summer, everyone was a world beater. They all turned out to be utter pricks. They are doing the same again. And if anybody thinks they will be great, do yourself a favour. We can bury them this year. But, we will probably make us just a bit better and not what we could become if we had leaders who still had their balls attached.

Every year and particularly last summer, we all hoped we would actually do what Rogers said about Europe and the need to invest in quality. I will admit this gave me a bit of hope. In the back of my mind though, I didn’t believe it would happen and I knew all the crap about £10m+ players was insanity and never going to happen. We actually had one of our most awful windows. We are now in the CL big money arena. We have a stack of gold and investing to regain some credibility in Europe would seem a no brainer. It is. However, factor in our board and their bonuses hingeing on money in the bank, I think they will spend, but will it be enough that we can turn up at CP and expect we can go toe to toe is wishful thinking. Let’s wait and see, but I for one wouidnt trust this board of cowards, as far as I could throw the Squinty Bridge. They should be nowhere near running a Junior team, never mind us. Factor in Ditherer in Chief Lawell and if you’re a betting man you accept we will spend, but it will be half arsed and disappointing. If you are run by ambitionless shitebags, don’t be surprised if they shite it again. I know I won’t and if they do we need a full on campaign to get rid of them. One of the happiest days as a supporter was Lawell leaving, and the saddest was bringing Bonusball back. Ian isn’t being negative, ignoring what he is saying is denying reality.

The anti-board mentality of some of our fans is now gone well beyond boring ..they even now sound like them across the city.The huge difference is our Board have put us on a fantastic financial basis whilst the other lot are once again on the verge of collapse. What Postecoglou left behind? He left a squad in sharp decline and that's why he scarpered down south! Brendan has the backing of the Board he's said that repeatedly. Yes, we got lucky last season but let's see what happens this summer. The window has just opened so let's wait and see who we can get this summer. Getting quality players and their wives/girlfriends to come to cold, wet Scotland is not as easy as some of our more naive fans seem to believe, so the club a chance to work a bit of magic for goodness sake. 👍💚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

English football has an effective pathway for academy players. Scottish football doesn’t. It is the responsibility of the Scottish football authorities to establish a plan to put that right. They have failed to do it for at least a generation, which leads me to belief that, without reform at the SFA, our development of footballers will not improve. The national side is at the end of that processing line. There is only so much that the national team manager can do by that point.

Matt O'Riley is a good player for Celtic, we also missed Tom Rogic, who was a fantastic player for Celtic. Callum McGregor is a good player for Celtic player, i think we can get more out of him next season, making more runs from midfield in behind defences because he doesn't do enough of that for me, also i dont like his side passing, he should tried and be a bit more ambitions and brave with making a forward pass, also he could score more goals
@tommyhughes495

The problem with McGregor is,he's now 31. And between age and the sheer amount of game's he plays,he hasn't got the legs to play the type of game you'd like Patrick. After all,if he didn't do it in his twenties, he won't be asked to do it now. Personally, I think he'll play a more defensive midfield roll. Pretty much as he does now.( you know,backwards,sideways passing😖😖😖) His goals return for a midfielder (esp in the SPL),are miserly. And in European games he just doesn't impose himself enough. A hardworking,energetic, decent pro,but a limited footballer. I've said it on here before,I reckon if he wasn't Scottish and a loyal clubman,he would have been punted a long time ago.Anyway,just my opinion.

@@tommyhughes495 in my own opinion Tommy i think Callum best days are gone a little bit like Scott Brown when was mid 30s struggle to keep up with pace of the game. you can see with Callum he seem to play it safe all the time especially that season their i dont think he had a good season either i think he done okay overall. hes been a better captain than Scott brown because hes more mature, as a player if we can get another midfielder in their with more ambition with the ball like REO then i would put him in their instead of Callum. his scoring ratio is very poor, i dont like defensive midfielders because they are too negative. would you sell Callum if we got a decent offer from him Tommy? @@patrickloughrey Good analysis Patrick. I definitely would sell him if we got a decent offer,however I don't believe we would get an offer for him now. At 31 I think his best days are behind him. And to be honest Patrick,after his performance against Germany ( and not just him) and his inability to get into the game,I think it just further showed up his limitations. I'm not sure any big club would be interested in him.I personally think he'll just end up his playing career with us. And it probably sounds unfair to the guy,but do you not think if he was any good in his twenties a half decent club would have come in for him? After all,down the years,a lot of our good players were sold,what happened to him if he was any good? And that 15 million offer from Leicester? I remember that "story". @@tommyhughes495 during Scott Brown era at Celtic i actually prefer Callum McGregor then i thought he was a decent player, good movement, running in behind defences causes all sorts of problems to the opposition. when he was attacking midfielder in Scottish football i thought he done decent job for us during Scott Brown era at Celtic. Callum McGregor wasn't good enough to play in England i think he realised that he found his level with us playing in Scotland to be honest and when he retires and years down the line i dont think i will remember him as much as a player for example i will always remember tommy burns, paul mcstay, john collins roy aitken etc i wont remember Callum McGregor. i think Leicester city was probably paper talk at the time. i will also say that Scott Brown was far better player with hibs than with us Tommy and again he was only a decent player nothing really special to be honest and again his goal scoring was like callum very poor and again wasn't good enough to play in England. these players were never good enough for europe because they lack technical ability cant pass a ball, cant control a ball, cant tackle, very rarely run with the ball, arent comfortable on the ball when under pressure these guys freak out under pressure that our biggest problem in europe, our players cant pass a ball fast enough, cant control a ball etc
