Brian's heart attack dive

Күн бұрынLabor Day weekend, 2012 on the Gaskin in St. Lawrence Seaway. Wearing a GoPro on my mask. Pain started while swimming over to wreck, turned around and hung on line. It went away. Pain came back halfway down the deck. Stopped hang and it went away again. At the bow, like someone hit me in the chest with a baseball bat. Shortened safety stop, but needed help getting onto boat. Three days later, quadruple bypass. Note the breathing rate. Panic and an underwater heart attack are not your friend. Stay calm. Stay alive.

have you ever dived since you bypass, as I had single bypass and told I could dive again, but afraid..?? I'm Tech qualified, active DM and re-breather, so diving was my life.. now no more.. sad........

I would about the dive due to communication problems and unaware buddy. Btw why to continue the dive after abort? Few minor issues here as well. Not looking good.
