SICK! I'm in the process of getting my LS swapped E46 back together also. I did the rear subframe stuff and made my own explorer 8.8 setup, axles, driveshaft and everything! Found a 3.73 with locker at the scrap yard, it's going to be so much better than that welded pos I was running!

Tell Derek to listen to an ls4 with longtube headers which have to be unequal length because it’s transversely mounted, sounds exactly the same as this car. That’s the only way I’ve heard an LS sound like this.

Hey Brian, Have you looked into the Hooker cast LS swap headers? They're made for situations just like this. They flow really well but take up only about as much space as a factory cast manifold.

These are very decent numbers given the set up. As Derek said, headers, an LSX102 intake, and a few things and she will make every bit of 480whp. Plenty of LS2 Corvettes and GTO's out there making close to 500whp on an NA max effort LS2.

The sound is definitely the headers, as soon as that got mentioned in the last video it was obviously that. There’s a reason car companies call it exhaust ‘tuning’. Unequal length runners, much less one front facing, that merges into the other side!?!? An X pipe vs Dual straight exhaust sound insanely different. You’re literally shooting one side 6 feet further, and definitely have pulses fighting each other.

Let’s make some body work related merch for Brian to help raise some money for this build ! As a body guy myself I totally get where he’s at trying to build my 01 cobra, I’m def down to buy some merch to help a homie out !
