RAGE is a groundbreaking first-person shooter set in the not-too-distant future after an asteroid impacts Earth, leaving a ravaged world behind. Rage 1 was amazing, 2 didn't feel the same but i really want them to make a 3 TBH, I'd even take another madmax game.

I'd love a new Mad Max. Keep the formula and dont try anything fancy or live service-y. Just a bare bones open world 7/10 game. Just fun (By 7/10 I mean it just wants to be a game, not a hype-tastic experience)

I had to comment on this. I was literally screaming at the TV. YOUR PLAYING IT WRONG!!!! he just dived straight into the first mission. Didn't look around the town area. Completely missed the wingsticks... Twice! And for your information, Rage is from iD software, they made a little game called Doom back in the day, it was kinda popular. Before tackling a game like this, do your research FFS

Just had this video recommended by KZfaq. Have followed the Fallout series all the way back to Fallout 1 (before bethesda got it) This one somehow got under my radar. After watching this will buy it. Looks like Mad Max got together with Fallout New Vegas and they had a baby and called it RAGE.

Well said. I love RAGE, about time for another playthrough, I can remember most of it but not the ending. Screams "PLAY ME AGAIN LEE!". Never played 2. Should I ? Oh, why not, it must be going cheap now.

So many good games came out in 2010, which is when I got RAGE here in England. I bought these too the same year. Fallout New Vegas Mass Effect & 2, because Mass Effect 2 came out. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 BioShock 2 Mafia II I am only mentioning the ones I have.......... Aliens vs Predator That is my lot. More came out but these I are the ones I purchased and played. I checked the list for 2010 and this is my list along with RAGE. I love them all and played them multiple times, RAGE is worth playing again 100% now you have reminded me of it. Cheers ! I can't remember the ending lol.

U need to loot the vending machines! How much $ u get depends on ur difficulty level. Explore ever creek and corner. Both in “free world” and “mission” stages. There also is an extended gold edition with more weapons and more missions to do.

Underatted for sure IMO. It's just a fun shooter end of the day. What is REALLY cool also IMO is the Mega-Textures (or Super..) technology that was used. What it does is allow for WAY bigger texture files to be used on things. So like walls or especially outdoor rocks you aren't gonna just see the same "wrap" around all the rocks cuz the program has so much larger of a pool to choose from. It really did/does work and I'm not sure whatever happened to the tech but I wish it would return. Or maybe it has and it's just low-key now...IDK.

I played this on default difficulty and liked it, but honestly I beat it without dying once. It was a bit too easy once you learn the AI. Each enemy has AI that is easy to cheese once you know their moves.

If I remember correctly, Rage introduced the megatexture technology. Everything you see is basically one big texture instead of many textured objects put together. That's why it looks beautiful at first glance, basically every inch is hand drawn. But everything is static, in a physics and a lighting sense. For example, if you see furniture in the game, every piece will look unique but you will not be able to physically interact with any of it. That's probably why the animations of the enemies are quite reactive, so there's at least something dynamic in that world :P

Brian Menard, Not sure if you have ever heard of the game "Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition". It is like GTA but also different and with a setting in Hong Kong. And this game has tons of content ( because in has ALL of it's DLC in it! ) This game is truly a HIDDEN GEM in everyway possible!!! Just a suggestion for you to play and look at.

This was a great game, brings back a lot of memories. I was anticipating this game a lot when it was first announced. I pre-ordered it I got so excited when it was almost ready to come out I couldn't stand it. I was not disappointed although I did think the game was a little short 😊

If I remember rightly , the game has very intelligent Ai enemies, great pacing & storyline. The only problem was the short runtime. Very enjoyable game. Rage 2 not so much

Rage was a really cool game but it wasn't so popular because there was already another one very similar but much bigger, wacky, and much less linear than Rage: Borderlands. For me, it was 2 things: Rage was super linear, and super focused on racing, which to me ended up being really boring, because it's not a racing game, and that is what I remember the most. You were not forced to race, but the game wanted you to do it a lot. And if I wanted to race, I had Forza Motorsport. Another thing is that the game seemed much longer than it really is. It's very short for what it seems and that was disappointing. So with Borderlands existing, and with all its replayability, Rage was like meh at the time. But the game is not bad at all. It's a pretty good game, with cool ideas, super fun to play, and amazing graphics and setting. If only the game was longer... But I am talking from my experience and my perspective only, that's what I remember.

I liked this game back in the day. Not too long which is a shame especially the content locked behind dlc. I got stuck on the last part, I walked away and came back months later and won it In minute and then the game ended. I was on the floor laughing my arse off.

I used to order chicken wing sticks after playing this game 😝 there are minigames to play, the star Wars you said try it you can bet money, also play cards, you find cards in the world looting. Have fun, Cheers!

I played RAGE but never got 2. Should I ? I played RAGE a few times, I like to get my monies worth. Loved the remote cars and setting them off. The NPC's had good AI. Out and about in the vehicles was fun. Story was creepy lol. I can't remember the damn ending though. I should play it again then.

i love Rage 1, anyway, for better experience u needed made a .cfg for fix and give a better resolution on your texture, LOD, Resolution Shadows (ONLY WORK and TWEAKABLE when you play on RAGE64, anyway, enjoy that great game !!!

Enjoyed this game when it first came out, but the game was too linear and compartmentalized. That said, I think people like me just didn't appreciate it for what it was, a good game with excellent graphics and decent physics. In the future, I recommend you move your face cam to the right of the screen so we can see the health bar and loot.

Rather than Fallout meets Mad Max I'd say this game is closer to Borderlands than anything else. Even the structures and NPCs have that same industrial and automotive feel to them. Both are great games but I feel like the inspirations here are pretty evident lol

hey just an FYI, It's called volume. The game is not going to have any "louder" of a volume then you permit. next time just turn your volume down 👍

In my opinion, Rage failed because that time the "Open World" hypetrain already rolling strong. Every gamemaker, every player was hyped about open world games so...when Rage came out it was basically "Too Basic Old School Game" I did enjoy Rage when it came out.
