I had to buried my child too. It was the coldest day of my life. When ever I think upon him, chills run through my blood. Missing you my son, missing you unmeasurably. If only I can hold you in my arms just one more time. Just one more time. The family has my condolences.....such beautiful little one. Rest in heaven.

Just be more easy with the way you say things about the dead,,, most individual like black's knows,,, it's just the comfort of what peoples gives them in their time of bereavement that's all,,,But trust me most of them knows the real truth, we all know nobody is running, swimming, or dancing, when any body time comes,,, we sleep until the next resurrection of Jesus Christ,,, just like we sleep,, when he come back and tell us to rise,,, it's gonna be like you just went to sleep like yesterday or even last night,,, Our father said it is so,,,when he say come forth,,, we all gonna think we wasn't dead that long,, Amen,remembered to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord,, Remembered that my brother's and sisters, in his name sake,Amen.

A lot of people are asking the same questions.. I don't know her but because I have family in jamaica and use to live there.. I can answer this much from watching and listening. She died due to Sickle cell anemia and this funeral took place in St. Ann's Jamaica. Jamaican culture celebrates death as a celebration and not too much mourning although as humans you will mourn. So taking pictures is not seen as disrespectful, There are times that you will see see-through caskets drive around JA with the dead person in the back while playing music. You might not understand it but we must respect cultural differences. At Grandpa Andy funeral recently nobody was allowed to wear all black. That is just something else like at nine-night you will see people in party clothes like their going to the club. Hopefully this helped somebody. Let's keep this family in prayer. Jamaica is all about staying strong and sometimes you need to know that it's okay to hurt. I pray that you will always hold on to the special time that you had with Brianna.
