@@cashbag Pekin literally got 4 man gank in the first minute. Like, his whole botlane, ADC included came to midlane just to gank his lane to get some borwnie points from him. Later he got 4 more ganks untill 13. minute. His team was spoon feeding him up to the maximum

i think you should build bork on this build as second or third item, it really sinergyzes with briars build and specially in the sion game it wouldve helped a lot(and it heals so its on theme!!)

lethality Briar isn't even glass cannon because of her healing. The issue with bruiser is you can't kill anything fast enough to not get CC chained to death. Even Pekin sat there getting CC'ed in the first game, during certain fights, for his entire life bar going full tank. Plus this is just an assassin meta, so everyone is building lethality including people who don't normally.

I love that they're doubling down on making Briar a bruiser. Most tanks feel so similar in terms of play style. Adcs feel pretty different like Aphelios, Samira, and Xayah all playing very differently. Mages can be pretty distinctive too when you think of Vlad, Asol, or Malzahar... Even bruisers feel pretty different and of course we have jung with the most diverse champion pool in the game but tanks mostly feel the same. Nautilus, Ornn, Chogath, and Sion all feel relatively similar like if you played one then you can easily move on to another. The idea of building Briar as a tank is so welcomed by me.

Adcs feel different? Hard disagree. It is by far the most uninspired and homogenous role in the game. Mostly because unlike every other lane bot lane is basically occupied exclusively by marksmen barring some rare exceptions.

@@vgamedude12yeah but marksman are very different from each other with the exception of the very old ones that are just auto attack based (Jinx, Sivir, Ashe and Vayne for example). But like Kalista, Samira, Aphelios, Jhin, Ezreal, Zeri, Lucian all play differently and one do not transfer to the other.

@Javier-zw9sx I disagree. Fundamentally they are all quite stale and focus on similar itemization and all rely on spammable unmissable autos for their damage. Even ezreal still uses many autos. Zeri is a bit different but meh. You also have to look at the pool of Champs. Bot lane has the smallest champ pool of any lane in the game because marksmen players will literally not allow any diversity in their lane. Like think about mid. You can play tanks, assassins, control mages, burst mages, artillery mages, sometimes even bruisers, marksmen, everything. Think about bot lane. You have marksmen and like 2 mages with a pickrate that probably doesn't exceed 3 percent combined. The lane is so stale and outdated as is the entire idea of forcing duo bot with marksmen every game. It stifles creativity and makes the game and strategies stale.

Briar being this small girl but such a towering threat as a front line is by far one of the strangest gaps in design I've ever seen lol. Ngl, shit's funny as hell, but I feel like it outclasses WW as being the normal pest sort of champ in just about every way. Feels like she just does his job better. I genuinely can't wait to see you try it out in high elo xD

I know it would be out of the concept but would not Blade of the ruined king be a good last item instead of sterak, considering the amount of health sion and darius had, and that it would give you a move speed and slow, what would be good considering that you did not have boots anymore?

i love the concept, i think i would have dropped the sky for more consistent healing, dmg, and a slow that would have really helped cut down on a lot of those chases and escapes. Great vid though.😊

Ok I get the idea but since your W healing is based on damage dealt shouldn't you build trinity or iceborn since the sheen proc will also be converted into healing? So for example trinity heartsteel unending? Also I feel like conqueror or PTA are still better overall

Briar's bite deals missing hp DMG, so it's better to use it at the end of a trade (unless you really need the heal)

I assume lifesteal benefits from Briars increased healing and as such i think a single lifesteal item somewhere in the build might help out a lot as your healing is otherwise reliant on item and ability cooldowns which aren't always up when you need them, so some consistent healing in the form of lifesteal could help bridge the gap between cooldowns.

i just wanna add that there's a part of briar that is self balancing, because she has some anti synergies. building hp on briar is not as efficient as it could because she has health costs. and the healing from her passive bleed still scales with ad. if she eventually become too strong in full tank builds, they could simply offset those by tweaking number and ratios. having her healing scales with both ad and hp, but lower ratios. also splitting her healing value between a base number and a ratio, or shifting it toward the number. another one could be making her health costs scale with levels or ability ranks. higher health cost would punish both the full tank and the assassins build. honestly, i feel like full tank briar should has a place in league, as long as it doesn't have damage and survivability higher than, lets say, tahm kench.

33:15 Here Pekin changed direction, thinking Shyvanna will try to run to base (or help Darius) and trying to cut her off, but she knew well enough to go for the steal instead (otherwise game was lost regardless). Pekin probably should've just focused on covering the steal angle rather than chasing. Then the game could've been won with elder on Pekin. Still an incredibly busted 1v5 regardless though, well played.
