Hi there 👋 Butterflies are delicate and do get damaged easily. They are very short lived and need time alone to fly in the sun, eat, love each other and lay egg babies. Every butterfly is lovingly hand reared in the laboratory by knowledgable and dedicated volunteers from eggs collected in the greenhouse. The Butterfly House staff are all volunteers. I believe after running costs any leftover contributions are donated to the needs of our communities. The Butterfly House started out humbly as a gentleman's backyard hobby of love and just grew by word of mouth. The experience can bring joy, delight and a sense of peace to visitors from all over Australia and the world. I have seen some people tearful with wonder. Thank you Beautiful Butterfies. 🥚🐛🌿🦋 Metamorphosis is a miracle.

Happy Easter to you too... hope you had a great weekend with your tours. I think it was my first butterfly enclosure...just glad I got on a sunny day bring nice and active. Camping is booked for another month..fingers crossed

@Aquarius Traveller Just starting to pick up a little now. 4 tours since I arrived, but 3 scheduled for next week. Going to be a long hard season, but will be worth it in the end. I think 🤣 Borneo and surroundings await at the end of the season 🤩😃✈️

My daughter lives on Bribie so did my 4 sons, I would ride from Tamworth to see them often, it's very lovely place

Another great video Chris. We know Bribie quite well so it's great to see another perspective on it and the aerial shots are fantastic. Still getting used to the drone and I get too nervous flying that high or over trees and water.

I know where your coming from... I've had this one since 2019...so use to it now but very nervous about where I took it and veing about to recover... we have crashed it several times 🤣🤣

Been to bribie heaps too...but first time filming so much... camping on the beach should be soon...if it doesn't rain again

We have a lot of great seafood aces in Queensland... nice and fresh Calimari is about the only seafood Matt will eat so always getting that when we eat out ...lol.

Good morning Phil...so nice to hear from you again. Hope you have been well and having a great Easter break. I would try maybe winter time or at least in a month or so.... flood waters are still around and waves on the east side are still a bit dirty. This footage water taken over a couple of trips. Our camping is booked for a months time so hoping it's a bit cleaner 👍👍

Nice one, Chris! We have "the butterfly place" near us. Seems very similar for hours, but a bit more expensive. We used to take the girls there when they were younger. Nice work mixing in some drone footage. That seafood did look like a treat. Happy weekend, and best of luck with the camping vid. ;)

I never knew about this butterfly place until recently.... but hard to visit when it's not open that much. Glad I got in on a sunny day and they were very active...although hard to get footage or photos when they won't stand still...lol.

Hey Chris, you got some wonderful shots of those butterflies 😍 they were so pretty. I have been to a few butterfly houses before but sure didn't see as many as you did! It is nice to see so many rental options on the water on Bribie Island. We will look forward to your camping episode 🙌

Hey guys...I really wish I took my good camera and got some better photo's of the Butterflys...The phone didn't cut it with them moving around a lot. The video was ok though, so good enough for the you tube video. apparently they are very active on warm sunny days ...just happened to catch a good one of those :) Such an easy island to get to, means more people living there and more visiting....The rental options are really great ! OMG, I can't wait for the camping trip...cancelled too many times for bad weather...Fingers crossed it happens next time, but have some other stuff in between :) Thanks for watching guys :)

@@AquariusTraveller that would make sense it would be challenging to get a great still shot of the butterflies when they are moving around so much, but still I really enjoyed the video footage! We sure hope your camping trip happens soon (if it hasn't already!)

I was close to doing a separate video on the butterfly house...bit wasn't sure it would do good on search ... not many know it's there...but an awesome little spot to visit
