I can't imagine the work that goes into a project like that. Looks great. I'd say, "Don't over do it" but I think I'm too late.

Wish I had the same option . Can't afford concrete looking at gravel for now

Not sure if you will get this but did you compact the sand? IE. Tamp

Looks good and admire you hard work to do it. Some of those bricks may not be meant to walk on though.
