Never met you both, but I feel privileged to have shared with you the parts of your life you shared with me (and the other YT viewer’s) I always laughed when Hollie used the ‘beginners bricklaying kit’ and picked up the mortar with her hands and had beds about 20mm thick😂 May you find peace, purpose and meaning even in this loss of your loved one, your wife, friend, lover, joker, comfort and support. She’s done soo well there 👍 And she’s right, the tool for the beds ain’t too bad, but the one for the perps is useless. Fair play to her for binning it and buttering up like a pro - could hear how proud you were to see that! 😀 As others have said, seen a LOT worse from first day apprentices. From what she’s learnt first time round, I bet it’d look even better if she gave it another go?! All about learning, which we never stop doing. Well done Hollie! 👍👍

My mate brought his mrs to work one day to see what bricklaying was like and to help out. He asked her to carry some bricks round for us as her first job. She brought 2 at a time which was fine. By 8:30am she said she was worn out and went home. She never returned. Fair play to Holly, she seems like a good giggle 👍

Well she is a winner. I am impressed with the bricky tools. It shows first timmer can do it with the bricky tools although not perfect. I guess more practice with the tools will make perfection. The plane added to the drama.

I used to be a brick cleaner and we did a lot of huge uni buildings and housing estates... No bull, Hollies work looks better than quite a lot of the "professional" jobs I used to go to that had been signed off as complete by some big construction firms. Love your channel mate, I'm wanting to build a big shed in my garden and I think you may have influenced something a bit more permanent.

Great video. It's a good representation of experience v novice and what its like to use the tool. I once made a raised garden bed and being a noob, the pointing, I did later by a stick to push the mortar in at the end of the 2 bricks and then scraped it out to recess the mortar. Hahahaha..but it worked.

A very good result Hollie with peculiar techniques but, the fun was everywhere for all. You demonstrated The Bricky can be used by all who attempt using it. But it's not for most people I guess as the wall just will not last like a proper bricklayer made wall. Thanks
