todays bricklaying video i am finishing the curved wall, i used engineering brick and staffordshire blues on the top of the wall.

Stunning !!! Absolutely awesome job. That is probably the best wall I've seen, and the blues have to be the crowning touch to finishing the top of the wall. Excellent, excellent job.

Keeping those freehand curves flowing without any jarring breaks is a thing of beauty. Amateurs always want there to be some secret template, jig, guide or machine to make things perfect & easy but there's no substitute for the human eye, and a set of skilled hands. great series of vids on this wall, the owner had to be thrilled with the result.

Stand back, look at it and if you are not happy, come back tomorrow, or on a rainy day and look at it again. Then surprisingly out of the blue, or the dense grey rain soaked cloudy day, you get the idea of how its meant to be. Then you simply build it!

Dude - that is beautiful ! you motivated me to do a little brick project. Bought 30 bricks, some pre-mixed mortar, a strike tool and a trowel. gonna build a little pier.

X Brighton Bricklayer Malcolm now Perth Western Australia says Stuart's noise bleeding job👺 I am assuming the bricks on edge were Staffordshire Blues... definitely a material to keep and lay dry I always enjoyed laying those now just a mem of the 90s not quite sure bout the 2 courses under the lovely coping as just think they stick out over that beautiful finish stone wonder what pier that stood on all those years ago... you lay a lovely brick, and nice to see you doing those jobs on your own ... that's where laying bricks was always the best for me as so satisfying... little tip for your winter time empty the hose-pipe before going home as will be frozen in morning and after 10am when feet have come 2.. the first thing you'll need is ?
