Charlie mate great effort there being on your own, I think that's good progress. Like you way of thinking, let the other gangs get there muck 1st and while there doing that you can load out and then get your muck, efficient 👍 good thinking 👍 Camera angle was better after you moved it after brake was a bit closer so could see more detail! 👍 Nice dinner there sir! Feast fit for a king! Well done Amy looking after him 👍 Charlie have you tried natural Greek yogurt with cashews and walnuts + fruit? Makes really nice high protein high fibre low carb macronutrient meal 👍 Hahaha look at hector waiting for his dinner lol! That's like my dog he does the same! Amy we miss your filming, go pro was good don't get me wrong but can't beat the close up action you film. Those bricks look nice. Excellent effort there Charlie well done 👍✅🍺

Charlie , 35 years I have been a single trowel and only words of advice I would give you is get the susie stacker driver on side . A drop on Fridays works well and the odd pack of beer and sandwiches will mean you are never stood waiting for muck or materials. The forky might even Bob you in a mix or fill ya tub for a few . I load out for an hour on a morning , whatever I load I lay . It’s hard graft on ya Todd but worth it on diamonds day .

it's all solids over the pond solids flat alternating with a solid on edge which would make it 12inches in most foundations that need to be built up to a certain height of coursing to reach damp proof course...I'm here in New York building brick and block but done exactly like this back home in Ireland before moving here 10 years ago lad

Loved your vid charlie, proper grafter, no dummies spat out cos you cant get muck any quicker, loaded out on while you were waiting, always something to do otherwise aint there, what age are you planning on retiring,,if i may ask, i worked with a young brickie years ago, proper grafter too, he said he was aiming at retiring at 50, his uncle who taught him was old school brickie, lent him a grand to set himself up,worked stupid hours, wife left him because all he thought of was work, even turned up on one job xmas day, when the owners of the property heard the mixer they turned it off and told him to go home, but he was right,he retired at fifty, nice house, moolah in the bank, but his body’s fucked, riddled with arthritus,an all the bits that come with working in the rain, cold, heat,or do you intend on retiring or work till you drop, keep the vids coming mate, love them👍👍👍👍.

You're a good grafter mate, but you're killing yourself trying to do it all on your own. I tried it for years and eventually figured out that you always need a helper. Without all the stopping and starting you, especially would be good for an extra hundred blocks or three hundred bricks a day. That should more than cover the laborers dosh. Remember every time you put down that trowel you're losing money. What used to kill me was the clean up in the evening. That's the time when brickie should be able to have a well earned sit down, crack open a tall boy, admire his days production and tell the labourer to hurry up cleaning so we can go home.
