The attention to detail of your door and window openings is superb, bordering on bespoke. Here in the states masons typically throw down a rusty piece of angle iron and slap bricks on top. It works well enough at first, but not long term. Your work is amazing.

Mint brickwork .. I always use the profile for soldier courses .. gauge the profile up and you can see if you need to open or tighten up to make it work. Also, a tip for you maybe you already know but do away with the top line and set your profile along the top edge of the course and you can use this as your line to get down to and straight edge to follow :). My bum twitched at that lintel not being propped too 😬🤣

I always prop the middle of lintel to stop that little bit of bounce or vibration whilst laying the soldiers.. especially on openings that size

I always use profile for a longish span of soldiers.. you can mark out your gauge on the profile.. brickwork comes out perfect
