As the old brickie said. This is the best trowel I’ve ever had. It’s only ever had three new handles and two new blades.

A changed a plastic rose handle to there rubber 1 similar to boiled in pot. But just put a bit wood slid trowel below just banged rubber 1 on never needed any glue or owt probs because it rose handle going on to rose trowel. Nice job buddy.

I like the shape of the tysak but the handle was too short so I drew the shape of the tysak round my 11 inch broad heel marshalltown with the comfy leather handle and cut it to that shape and it’s the bollocks! Marshalltown handle with a tysak shape, love it 👌

Do you know if a rose proform or cork would fit on a whs blade?

Try a rose wooden handle, I prefer them to marshalltown wooden handles as there is a bit more of a swell in the middle of the handle that just seems to sit nice in the hand 👍🏻

A don’t like that it tends give me a sore hand. Use rose proform rubber handle. Trying the plastic also was t keen similar to wood but changed it to rubber

@@lmilne4859 I guess that's why there are a few options, as long as you have what's right for you that's all that matters 👍🏻

@@robessell Yea so true good thing with the rose multiple options from handles to shapes to 1/2inch sizes in blades and limber blades list goes on lol. Can cost you a bit trying them all 😅

@@lmilne4859 tell me about it 😆 I have a decent selection, I have 3 that are all really my favourites. A 9 inch philly that's limber, I love using this for brickwork. A 9.5 inch spade/sewer/Boston pattern I think that's limber too which is great for rubble work. I have a 7.5 inch tile setters trowel that's not limber I use this for general stone fixing as you don't use much mortar with no frogs and 3mm joints but I can use it to lift and maneuver big stones which is useful. Then I have a 12 inch narrow London limber for blocks, it doesn't get used often and it's probably a bit big in all honesty but it's still nice to use 👍🏻

@@robessell 😀 keeps the mind active buddy 🤣🤣 a have a limber 10 1/2 inch now 9inch for brick. But most use a narrow London 10inch which has a more solid blade. Or use a broad heel shovel 11inch on the block on flat. Or 10 1/2 Philadelphia limber on 100mm block. Good to have a selection. 😝
